The week goes on. A small miracle, how quiet it is. With no motives or attacks to speak of, you can breathe a sigh of relief even when a tension gripes the air. So few of you now, what exactly would you do were Typhon to return and decide the game was over? Was Athena always going to be out of reach? And what exactly did she want you to find in the center of this mountain temple, anyway?

Questions abound, and no answers.

...Until this morning. The sky itself is clear with very few clouds, but something still falls into your home. Not "physically," though, it's more of a feeling. The sensation of some great power entering this space. Everyone will notice it, and the way it passes by, sinking beneath the floors - all the way to the bottom level.

And there it ends up, waiting for someone brave enough to investigate.

But anyway. A fist is easy enough to dodge - in close range like this, it's easy enough for Aglaea to spin on her heel, twirling around Athena as she moves with the force of the punch as if she's dancing with her. Another sweep of her sword - this time aiming for one of her legs.]

An attack that obvious seems far too unworthy of the Goddess of Wisdom, don't you think?

[But he wanted to drink Typhon's blood???]

... Ah, and I was really looking forward to it...

We must see if it's possible to prize this other Athena away from the one we know, instead.

[Because these are the priorities he chooses to have.]

Quite so... especially if she's the one who killed him. I don't appreciate being made a liar, you know!

I can't say "at least he's suffering", really, because if it's not me, I don't care. We didn't even get to watch.

[This time, Athena is anticipating the counter. She rolls with Algaea, like a dance, two bodies circling each other-- Just out of the reach of the sword Algaea keeps going for.]

Obvious? Or on purpose?

[Pay no mind to the rift behind you, Algaea, as Athena turns to face you with her sword drawn... and a Cyclops's fist rises out to swipe at you.]

[See, the funny thing about that?

Aglaea isn't alone.

as the chaos of the battle with Athena and the shades wages around them, both of Aglaea's Garmentmakers are still by her side. So as the Cyclops materializes behind her, the two memosprites leap into action, immediately closing the distance between them and aiming their blades for the beast's eye and heart.

Aglaea, meanwhile, tries to keep the distance between them as little as possible, trying to find another opening in between Vanity's attacks.]

Very foolish indeed. You must be expending quite a bit of power to keep her from breaking free. How much longer do you think you can last, with attacks from all sides like this?
