The week goes on. A small miracle, how quiet it is. With no motives or attacks to speak of, you can breathe a sigh of relief even when a tension gripes the air. So few of you now, what exactly would you do were Typhon to return and decide the game was over? Was Athena always going to be out of reach? And what exactly did she want you to find in the center of this mountain temple, anyway?

Questions abound, and no answers.

...Until this morning. The sky itself is clear with very few clouds, but something still falls into your home. Not "physically," though, it's more of a feeling. The sensation of some great power entering this space. Everyone will notice it, and the way it passes by, sinking beneath the floors - all the way to the bottom level.

And there it ends up, waiting for someone brave enough to investigate.

[ It's not a compliment. Luna is too afraid of striking one of the others by mistake to try and interfere in the fight with Athena, but she is fighting to keep any monsters from interfering to aid her! ]

[She punctuates Athena's own words, tossed back at her in her host's voice, with a kick to the ribs with each word.]

[That hand on Vanity's head. It starts to squeeze.]

I don't need all of you to accomplish my goal.

[It at least succeeds in getting Vanity to use one hand to grab at Athena's wrist, trying to pry herself free of the vice-like grip on her head.]

Oh, does hearing from her bother you? Guess seeing someone with your face who's BETTER THAN YOU must be outside of your experience. Good thing I'm here to provide guidance.

V- Vanity... [athena's face flashes with a different recognition, grimacing as if in intense pain.] You have to get back, she's--Is not fit to provide guidance as she hides behind her fears. You wish for guidance? Consider remembering that I am also a master of war!

[Good news, she's not trying to crush Vanity's head anymore. Instead, she tries to lift Vanity up and slam her into the floor to finally shake her loose.]

...Aoi too. It was my fault, but...it still hurts.

[And she'll raise a hand, attempting to summon something through the rifts, right beneath Quark's bar.]

Then why are we fighting? Both Athenas can be happy and rebuild the world with us, can't they?

[Aoi feels the ground rumble, but she continues to step forward, putting her hand against the boundary of the Phantasmal Bar.]

Please. Believe in us.

[ Ah, the ground rumbles, and Alex, at that moment, abruptly sits up mid-snore, snorting as he does, drool on his chin, hair all disheveled— ]

[ It's not Lebkuchen's vines that step in this time but tree roots. The ground is their territory after all. They try to cover up the rift and slow down whatever is trying to get summoned through and protect the bar. ]

[Quark's hand tightens one the part of the bar he's got a hold of, but he looks relieved at those roots stepping in]

[Since Leb and Quark are in such close quarters within the phantasmal bar with Pandora's Box, they'd both be be able to hear something.

A soft, gentle hum coming from the box.]

THEN WHY DO YOU HIDE BEHIND THE SHADE OF THE ONE WHO DEFEATED YOU?!

[Wind rushes past. In a brief moment of freedom, Athena raises the Blade of Olympus once more, the end crackling with a dangerous electricity, and swings it hard in a downwards motion.

A ball of pure lightning surges forth, through skeletons and monsters, and smashes straight into Omega's shields.]

[ Omega stands firm, the energy clashing against his shield. He holds it back, for a moment...but not even the God of Protection is strong enough to resist the Blade of Olympus, and his shield shatters, leaving the blast to strike him.

Parts of Omega are literally blasted off him as he is thrown back violently, hitting the wall of the chamber near the bar, his body slumping down with a loud, labored whirr. ]
