True to the invitation, the new and improved Quark's Bar on the third floor has been transformed into a sleepover space. Of course, the long couches and throw pillows already made it a good space for lounging anyway, there are more pillows and some clearly DIY blankets. Near every spot of open floor has something soft and comfy placed down.

Some drinks and snacks are already set out, naturally, plus the replicator is right there. Quark has been helping out with the catering, of course.

...There's a little more decoration than before, too. Some of the flowers from that hallway have been moved and put in the main bar area, but there's some simple paper flowers and paper star decorations around, too, just to liven the place up a little.

You did a wonderful job, my dear. I would offer it in return but I fear it would end up a bird's nest.

Oh, there's no need to. I'm fine with leaving my hair down.

[He turns around so they can talk more properly on the lounge]

It never occurred to me that they could come off. I assume it is more comfortable for sleeping?

Yes. And honestly, it's too tiring to wear them all the time.

[markofnobility]

... does it hurt, wearing them?

[stringup]

It used to, at the start. [ She'll be honest about that. ] These days, it's more like...it gets uncomfortable. It's a bit like wearing armour, but that armour is now also your limb?

[ Velvet will do exactly that, or at least try to.

[ The number of times she'd volunteer for longer watch hours when the troupe camped out just because of her insomnia... ]

...I have a suggestion. It's not something we have to do tonight, and, uhm, you don't even have to agree, but...

...We could try sharing a bed and see if that helps?

He pinkens, fiddling with his nails but smiling regardless]

I... did rest a bit better on the roof, when it was the two of us.

[ ...She's too embarrassed to finish the rest of the sentence. ]

A-and of course it is... well, I am a gentleman, as my nobility demands.

[He couldn't bear her thinking he'd do anything untoward]

[stringup]

I-I hadn't considered that at all!

[ Though given how she suddenly raised her voice without meaning to, now it's occurred to her. ]

[markofnobility]

[He laughs a little, covering his mouth]

Of course, of course. But best to be sure...

[stringup]

[On anyone else those words might come off as a blow off. But Ferdinand's gaze is heated and over bright]

[ It's probably a good thing that right now she's just sort of overwhelmed by embarrassment and saying things in the heat of the moment, in a way. Otherwise, she'd find herself in a pit of anxiety instead.

But no one has ever looked at her the way Ferdinand is right now, and again she finds herself wondering how she managed to catch the eye of someone as bright and beautiful as him.

She grips his hand a little tighter. Right now, at least, she can't bring herself to doubt him. ]
