Event 3: The Corrupted Hero
Another week of Typhon's threats and promises. At some point, they really should start falling on deaf ears, wouldn't you think?
But, on this balmy Wednesday morning, there's another far more alarming sound coming from the lowest levels of the temple: someone screaming.

He's just going to be following the vanguard down because this sure sounds like a situation that is going to need healing, firepower, or potentially both.]
BOSS FIGHT 1: Gorgon and Harpies
The birds immediately leap into a panic, fluttering erratically due to the low ceiling in here, while the gorgon lobs the used clay container at the nearest person by the door. One of the harpies stretches its wings wide and lets fly a rain of rather sharp feathers.
Please roll 1d20. 1-4 is a critical hit, 5-10 dodges the attack, and 11-20 is a dodge with retaliation.]

That done he charges in, shield raised to deflect the raining feathers, leaping over the bar to throw himself at the Gorgon with the Assal]

Round 2
The gorgon, on the other hand, was rearing back for a strike of its own. A dangerous light dances over its eyes. You get the feeling it would be bad, were Ferdinand Von Ageir not diving over the counter at it with Riful's assistance. There's a mighty crash, and the gordon, now disoriented, blindly fires bolts of pure (non-petrifying) energy in a random direction before going to swipe with its claws.
Please roll 1d20. 1-4 is a critical hit, 5-10 dodges the attack, and 11-20 is a dodge with retaliation.]

Round 3
Who squawks indignantly from one of it's own feathers being flung at it. A couple knick its wings, sending it sprawling, flapping erratically down the back hall of the bar. Seems it's trying to get away.
This round is an attack of opportunity. Those that chase after the bird can attack with 1d20 without consequence. 1-5 is a miss, 6-10 is a hit, 11-20 is a very successful hit.]

Round ??? 1/2
It comes to a painful stop, already half-gone into smoke, before that grand stone door that was blocking your way. It was impressively sturdy, and seemingly even more intricate to open up.
Well, it's open.
The figure responsible slowly turns to face you as the last of its underlings vanish just in front of its feet.]
BOSS FIGHT: Odyssues 2/2
A flickering blade of shadow materializes in his hand. Eyes as red as blood size each of you up. In front of the corrupted wraith, a portal opens in mid air, obscuring the figure until it vanishes... and him along with it.
Not for long, however. As, far above the nearest godlings, the same portal opens, and Odyssues drops out of it, plunging his sword down for a powerful diving attack.
Please roll 1d20. 1-4 is a hit, 5-10 is a dodge with chance to attack, and 11-20 is a full dodge with attack.]

Round 5
He's clipped by a sharpened barstool leg and Riful's ribbons before diving into another portal, only to be tailed by a ice knife and Omega's missiles. A moment later, a portal opens on the opposite wall with an explosion within pushing Odysseus out. He's fast, but not fast enough to avoid Lebkuchen's vines, which entangle his legs for the moment. As he tries to cut himself free, the rest of your attacks, Seymour's specifically, rain down.
There's a brief pause where the fight is completely obscured. As vision returns, Odysseus is still there, but clearly stunned. Now is the time to act.
This round is another attack of opportunity. Please roll 1d20. 1-4 is a miss, 5-10 is a hit, 11-20 is a very successful hit.]

Epilogue
One of Omega's very large bullets catches his sword hand, knocking the blade away. Just in time for Aglaea, Ranma, Ferdinand, and Vanity to surround him in a flurry of blows that dance around one another. A chair leg slashes across his shadowed form, drawing black mist while Aglae and her Garmentmaker go for a double thrust into his chest, Ferdinand going for the same from the other side.
Blades slow down, the tip just touching the wraith's chest. And Odysseus vanishes.
It seems like another attack might be readied. You're tense and feel a shadow fall behind you. It's Odysseus, still standing, facing you in front of the now opened doors.
He beholds each of you... and bows in respect. Slowly sinking into the floor until there's nothing but a dim smear in the stone.
It appears that you have prevailed once again.]
