Week Two
Okay, maybe it hasn't been so easy. You've been enjoying a relatively pleasant time here with your fellow gods and Athena, only for a disgruntled Titan to seemingly pull the rug out from under that.
Despite the immediate threat from a hidden foe, you've managed to stave off their first attack. However, even if the grass may seem greener this week, or the sky a bit clearer, Athena can barely hide her troubled feelings. If this experiment is to be a success, what has to happen to make it that way?
You're all alive, though. That's worth celebrating, isn't it?

[She picks up her motive slip and- her face goes carefully neutral for a second. But the parchment crinkles in her hand as she folds her arms.]
So do you have an actual plan for this or is this the part where you try to apologize for winging it?

Don't you fucking walk away from me- hey!

I want to be extremely clear; I do not wish to cause you any more undue suffering than you have already experienced - here or back in that future of yours. But know that, right now, I am solely responsible for handling matters of a multiversal scale, and my mercy is not bottomless.
[She leans down low, bringing her face almost to Vanity's level.]
Please choose your next words carefully.

[A smart person would probably use this moment to reconsider their approach.]

Your. Shit. Isn't. Working.
[technically she says each word carefully]
Are you actually going to tell us anything useful about all this, or keep being vague?

[Athena rises back to her full height, stonefaced.]
The gods of this world are dead. Everything is dead. Typhon should not be here. And, because he is, I have to deal with him.
[And she's leaving again.]

Is there anything else?

Do you actually believe you can beat him alone? Because if you run in and die I really don't think he's just going to get bored of us and leave.

It's exceeding difficult to kill a god. That's part of why we were able to defeat the Titans in the first place. Typhon won't have anything that can put me down for long.
[Blink and you'll miss it, but it feels like Athena's gaze softens.]
You've already been forced to experience the dangers of a Titan. You performed well, especially with that sword. But you're new; mortal in a way that I've never been... You're my responsibility, so I can't ask you to do more than you've already done.
I do have an ally who may assist me. I hoped my message would reach her in time, but if Typhon is choosing to move now, I can't wait any longer.

[Collapsing a galaxy-spanning conglomeration of mega-corporations was pretty impossible too.]
Fine, whatever. But if he's fucking playing you I'm gonna be salty about not getting to say I told you so in person.

[The bigger they are, the harder they are to kill, but that doesn't make it impossible.]
I will hold you to that, Vanity. I hope to see you alive by then.
