Okay, maybe it hasn't been so easy. You've been enjoying a relatively pleasant time here with your fellow gods and Athena, only for a disgruntled Titan to seemingly pull the rug out from under that.

Despite the immediate threat from a hidden foe, you've managed to stave off their first attack. However, even if the grass may seem greener this week, or the sky a bit clearer, Athena can barely hide her troubled feelings. If this experiment is to be a success, what has to happen to make it that way?

You're all alive, though. That's worth celebrating, isn't it?

There are many legends about humans having been created with clay and then imbued with life. Were this sculpture to become alive, it'd do well, until it realizes what its face is like.

[Welp, she gives up at trying to make this thing stop being soft and malleable. She carefully slides the statue onto the ground, where it lies down staring up]

It's not much, but I thought I should fulfill my promises...and try something new. This art is meant to fulfill a special purpose.

[He gives this the serious focus it deserves, staring at the effigy. Once upon a time this kind of praise would be everything he ever wanted. Someone making his likeness in such a commanding prose. Not as a commission but because they wanted to. Because they saw him this way.

Now the part that makes his chest warm though is the smile. As simple as it is he feels seen. He feels-]

[She hadn't expected such an earnest answer. Here she was, stoic as usual, when she hears that and Misane is caught off guard, even a little flustered]

I'm glad. When you announced your happiness at this...mediocre result, I was concerned you'd be the kind to roll over just to make others happy.

[It's a pretty specific mindset and dealing with it is exhausting, even when she cares so much about the one person in her life who is like that]

It was made for me! Even if it is a beginner's effort it is still nice to be thought of.

I did think if it turns out making depictions of us with good feelings gives stronger powers, you could be trusted with them. So if at any point you find you're more powerful please tell me about it.
