Okay, maybe it hasn't been so easy. You've been enjoying a relatively pleasant time here with your fellow gods and Athena, only for a disgruntled Titan to seemingly pull the rug out from under that.

Despite the immediate threat from a hidden foe, you've managed to stave off their first attack. However, even if the grass may seem greener this week, or the sky a bit clearer, Athena can barely hide her troubled feelings. If this experiment is to be a success, what has to happen to make it that way?

You're all alive, though. That's worth celebrating, isn't it?

I see...I suppose these "Relics" are what we'd call artifacts where I'm from.

The names are similar enough in meaning I would not be surprised. They are weapons, armor and magical foci from ancient times. The knowedge to make them is long lost...

I have always wished to weild one. But my house has not held ownership a sacred item in generations.

[ Honestly, this makes Velvet wonder if other worlds have something like a "First Age", a bygone era when things were, supposedly, more wondrous and prosperous. ]

I won't say I can make weapons—I'm not especially skilled in the art of the forge—but if there are suitable materials here, I can probably make an artifact of some kind.

Oh?! What materials would you need?

[ he pauses, gears turning, before his excitment turns to worry]

It would... not cause problems for you, would it? Like when you used your powers before?

I highly doubt there are things like orichalcum or moonsilver here, so anything that could be "magical" and can stand up to a bunch of would-be gods using them will have to do.

[ That said, she pauses at Ferdinand's concern. ]

...I can't say for sure, but i think it's a lot less likely.

As for supplies, well... with all that has come from the tokens who knows what we might find!

[ Honestly, Velvet isn't entirely sure either. If she makes things for people that end up saving their lives, will that come to bite her in the ass by dint of it being her handiwork? ]

Ah, speaking of that...uhm, if by some chance you or someone else happens to get a set of ten rings from the tokens, could you let me know? They'll most likely be mine.

...I guess they do look like jewelry, yeah. But they're more like...wire coiled into the shape of rings.

And whatever happens, don't try them on. It'll be...very unpleasant, to say the least.

[ his eyes widen slightly, both with surprise and an odd understanding. The warning is seemingly not too out of pocket to him]

Ah, almost done. How do you take yours?

Uh...plain, I suppose?

[ the hesitation tells him a lot. But he doesn't comment on it as he pours the cups. It smells very... earthy. Very Plant. Like the woods. With a tiny bit of cirtus-y sweet under it all]

Pine is very herbal, so do not hesitate to add honey if it is too strong.

[ he's definitely adding some to his cup. He likes the herbal flavor and he'd be the first to admit he's a slut for citrus. But the astringency is a bit much for him to take it black]

When she takes a sip, her eyes widen because Ferdinand wasn't kidding about the taste, but she still takes it black anyway. Apparently it's nonetheless agreeable to her. ]
