Week 4 Meeting

[Whether from Quark or from Aoi, you are once again summoned to the bar for a meeting. Aoi will greet anybody who arrives and offer them either a Bloody Lukara (Tomato juice, salt, pepper, and a shot of the Not So Good Stuff) or Risan Punch (ginger ale and coconut water with a squeeze of lemon).]

Aoi made them with Quark! I put friendship in them.

[Aoi looks a little proud of herself for getting them assembled (with a lot of help, of course.) Don’t mind the various tomato juice stains on her sweater.]

It’s all on Aoi’s tab at a discounted rate, don’t worry.

[this stupid fucking titan. she hates him. she hates him more than she's ever hated anyone, she thinks. the feeling of this motive hanging over them, it's constricting something cold in her chest. something familiar, yet completely mysterious, too.

but she and Alex said they'd fight him. in whatever little ways they can.]

[Aoi feels her eyes well up a bit.]

You mean it?

...it'll probably be bad. Aoi won't blame anybody for being disgusted.

Are you sure you wanna make that promise?

[It may be a warning, but Aoi's voice sounds...almost hopeful.]

[murchada]

I am. Positive, in fact.

[she won't just say she wouldn't be disgusted. it's true, really; she can't think of anything that could possibly disgust her about Aoi. but when she doesn't know what truth is being hidden, it would feel too hollow, too... simple to say.]

No matter how bad it is. Really.

[Aoi remains quiet, tears starting to roll down her face.

Then she gives Cerejeira a big hug, her head resting on her shoulder.]

[oh. well.

...she'll just go ahead and put a hand on top of Aoi's head, then, so very gently.]
