You've all met Athena, and she's made her point quite clear. She's fully committed to making this world better, and you're the ones who agreed to lend a hand. Something she's obviously quite thankful for.

It's really not so bad around here. Despite the sky, and the state of the land, things are fairly calm. You've got plenty of time to get used to it, and each other. Maybe this'll be easier than it seems.

[ Alex has sort of been trying to build up to ask her a question for...awhile. Normally, he would rush right into learning something, but having the ability to ask a god, it...it's still something he's wrapping his head around.

So. When he sees her at the cornucopia, he decides to just suck it up. There aren't others around, either, which is a bonus. He sort of wants his privacy. ]

A- Athena, uhhh, I've got a...question...

[ Hm. ]

Is this a bad time?

[Her demeanor changes immediately. She strands back up straight.]

No. No problem. [She turns to face him. Boy is she tall.] Please, Alex. What is it?

Well, I'm uh. [ hhh ] I was kind of wondering about, well...if you picked our...designations, here. For, uh, godhood?

A good question. [She doesn't judge his anxiety. That's normal, on many counts.] While I bestowed the initial godhood upon each of you, the specifics weren't mine. These abilities were drawn up from within each of you.

...It would probably be unwise if I chose all the aspects of your godliness.

B-but the, the...domains? Was that you? Like, that I'm s'pposed to be the, uh... God of Life?

The domains also came afterwards, and again, that wasn't me. These positions you've been given, I believe they were granted to you by the world itself in order to heal.

What you do with these domains, and how you interpret them, is up to you. [...] It's a lot to think about, I know.
