Week one
You've all met Athena, and she's made her point quite clear. She's fully committed to making this world better, and you're the ones who agreed to lend a hand. Something she's obviously quite thankful for.
It's really not so bad around here. Despite the sky, and the state of the land, things are fairly calm. You've got plenty of time to get used to it, and each other. Maybe this'll be easier than it seems.

Misane puts down the rubble she had just picked up, thinking and staring at Ranma intently for several seconds.
Misane is a detective apprentice and her deductive skills are rather good, even though a certain roleplayer's aren't, haha. She doesn't quite connect the points fully, but she gets a strange inkling]
We have met before. I'm sure we have. [She saw no hesitation in this girl when saying anything -- no sign of being caught offguard by somebody she didn't know. It's not a perfect deduction, but...if she's right, something is up] Did you use some sort of god power?

[biggest mood of the century that's why another certain roleplayer mainly plays characters that are only half-smart and half-dumbass.
Hey, she's doing leagues better than most people in Ranma's world. There've been idiots who saw him change before their eyes and still think the two Ranmas were separate people. The fact she's getting this far in understanding is astounding.
Nod at the first statement, shaking her head to the second.]

[There indeed are enough. There's only one single person who had talked about cleaning with Misane, so once it was confirmed that yes, this isn't a total stranger, that could only mean this is Ranma.
What she didn't expect was that this wasn't some sort of godly skill. A curse that existed even before coming here...! Now that's far more unusual. She's not used to curses at all. Somehow she's not too surprised about it because she's open minded, but...curses are new turf for her!]
Meaning something activated your curse, but...I can't figure out what.

[Who else could she possibly be, Quark? Ranma's only teasing here, carrying on hefting large parts of rubble over her head like they're styrofoam and not solid rock.
She'll throw Misane a freebie since she did get it right on her own.]
It was that horn statue. I tossed in a few coins, and it spat out a mug with water in it. Clobbered me in the face and got me all wet.

Trust me, I've learnt that the hard way. You won't believe how many times I got drenched 'cause some dunce dumped mop water out a window, or some old lady was cleaning her porch. [Too many times.] This is the first time fire doused me with water. Normally it's the other way around, y'know?
[She cracks a smile and a giggle with her light joke, clapping her hands together to free them of dust.]

I wouldn't be shocked if it is. Water comes out of nowhere when I need it the least, and nowhere t' be found when I really need it.
[It isn't even cold water. Times when she had to stay a girl for reasons, like the martial arts rhythmic gymnastics battle or whenever mom popped in unannounced, it suddenly seemed like hot water's everywhere ready to change her back when it's the most inconvenient. Water magnetism makes total sense

[misane you are. way too good to her. Her actually offering to help cure her curse seeming free of charge without any strings attached does get her to stall for a moment, but not a moment too soon before:]
