Week one
You've all met Athena, and she's made her point quite clear. She's fully committed to making this world better, and you're the ones who agreed to lend a hand. Something she's obviously quite thankful for.
It's really not so bad around here. Despite the sky, and the state of the land, things are fairly calm. You've got plenty of time to get used to it, and each other. Maybe this'll be easier than it seems.

Really cuts down on the amount of supplies you need to take with you, not to mention on air tanks.

[Ranma pays attention to Quark's words while he gets to baking. Throwing all of the prepped ingredients onto a pan, sliding that in the oven. He spins around, closing the oven door shut with his foot, sitting on the appliance, letting it bake.]
Air tanks? Whaddaya need those for?
[he always assumed that if aliens were real they could breathe in space. though then again those are the rules in the movies and books. real life often than not can be shockingly different]

Ahhh...
[Ranma doesn't know enough about science to ask if replicating air from nothing as it runs out would feasibly work. That, and Quark's his only frame of reference for how sci-fi alien technology operates so he's just gonna take his word for it.]
So do you wear spacesuits like astronauts do? And travel 'round in rockets?
[Criss-crossing his legs on the counter with childish intrigue, cause tbh? He's actually a little interested... And talking helps the pass the time it takes for the pasta.]

And we don't travel around in rockets. Those wouldn't be fast enough to get anyone anywhere, not to mention they're dangerous. Most people travel around in some kind of ship.

[He's always imagined being in the vast vacuum of space was a lot like being submerged beneath the ocean's surface. Dark and frigid, little to nil purchase to find, difficult to breathe... Though there's a lot more in the ocean that can attack or gobble you up.]
That makes sense. Rockets explode. [Kinda wondering what makes a ship less dangerous in that regard but he isn't interested enough to vocalize it.] It must be nice a view up there, gettin' to see the stars everywhere you turn.
[Stargazing was one of his favorite things to do during his childhood after a long day, and even now, he'll lounge up on the dojo's roof to observe the stars. It's peaceful.]

...okay admittedly, that's simply been the norm for him so long that he hasn't really thought about whether it's beautiful or not in a long time. But once upon a time...]
...it is, yeah.
