Week one

You've all met Athena, and she's made her point quite clear. She's fully committed to making this world better, and you're the ones who agreed to lend a hand. Something she's obviously quite thankful for.

It's really not so bad around here. Despite the sky, and the state of the land, things are fairly calm. You've got plenty of time to get used to it, and each other. Maybe this'll be easier than it seems.

[ It seems they're in for some trouble all together, after all. Community spirit is something of a distant thing for Luna, and always has been, but she's still a pony of Equestria; she knows what it is, and the power it can hold. ]

Giving someone something for free isn't usually a good business practice.

[ There's lots of species on Equestria, so she's used to the ways viewpoints can differ. It's just...well, quite different from pony culture. ]

If anyone knows me well enough to call me a friend, then they know that business comes first.

It is not like that among ponies. Generosity is one of the Elements of Harmony, even. Ancient magical relics that are quite important to Equestria.

Sounds like somewhere Starfleet would love to make contact with.

Interesting's a word for it. Starfleet's all peace across the galaxy, positive outlook, doing the right thing, all that.

Not what I would've guessed, all things considered.

What on earth do you mean?

[ Things here have gone better than they usually do at home, true. But Luna's largely attributed that to how little anybody here knows about her. The fact that she is not well-liked has been true for so long, it feels immutable. ]

You seem to have an easy enough time fitting in here.

[ Granted, it certainly hasn't been as bad as home can be, but... ]

I am quite unlike the rest of you. Save perhaps for Mikhail Sergeeyvich Manulov. [ And even that is a bit tenuous. They're both quite non-humanoid, but that's about it. ]
