You've all met Athena, and she's made her point quite clear. She's fully committed to making this world better, and you're the ones who agreed to lend a hand. Something she's obviously quite thankful for.

It's really not so bad around here. Despite the sky, and the state of the land, things are fairly calm. You've got plenty of time to get used to it, and each other. Maybe this'll be easier than it seems.

My spells have similarly been compromised, though I'll admit I don't know any curative magic.

[He's absolutely not a fan.]

I honestly don't know what to make of it.

[necromants]

I could come up with several theories, but given how little we know about this world and how it interacts with our own and the magics contained within, it would be pointless guessing.

[Is that going to stop him from doing it anyway? Nnnnnno.]

Regardless, it is worth bringing up to Miss Athena the next time we see her; I imagine she expects us to have plenty more questions as we get accustomed to this world and what it has to offer us. I'm not entirely sure how we're supposed to go about using our new godhood to help this world either...

[pariunt]

I wouldn't know where to begin with figuring out what happened.

[In other words, he doesn't have a single guess. He's just going to be mad about it because he doesn't have anything else to do.]

I do hope she has an explanation for all of this.

[necromants]

[Zvei hums in response to the first part and spins the knife around between his fingers as he considers the second part. He's surprisingly skilled at it, despite it being a regular (sharp) kitchen knife. No accidental cuts here!]

Well, given what she's told us, she seems to believe that restoring this world is of the utmost importance. So much so that for whatever reason - possibly due to the supposed lack of life in this world - she had to reach out to others and found us. It seems as though she did say something convincing enough to get us all to come along.

[pariunt]

She is some manner of deity. It makes sense for her to consider it important.

[Even the evil deities have a vested interest in the world not completely falling apart; then there's no longer a mortal world filled with potential followers.]

Perhaps she's the only god remaining. There was a period in my own world where gods became mortal, and spent that time slaughtering each other.

[necromants]

The only god remaining, hmm...

[Zvei hums to himself for a moment, mismatched eyes drifting away to stare at some point on the wall before he corrects it.]

I can't say I'm surprised. It would seem that gods are far more similar to mortals than I would have expected.

[pariunt]

Oh, they tend to be. Hatching plots against each other and bickering.

Why, a companion of mine even slept with a goddess. And made it sound like the most boring experience in his life, but he's dreadful at talking about a lot of things.

[necromants]

[Considers...]

Do you think anyone here will sleep with Lady Athena? I wonder how that would even work given her inconsistent form...?

[someone PLEASE get this man a brain-to-mouth filter.]

[pariunt]

[Hmmm!]

You know, that is quite the question. Perhaps we should start a betting pool.

[This is exactly the sort of nonsense he's here for.]

[necromants]

Absolutely. I have nothing of value to bet with, mind you, but it would be delightfully fun.

[He moves to stand, sliding the knife into a pocket in his labcoat as he does.]

Come, let's visit the statues and see if we can accurately determine who will attempt to seduce our lovely goddess friend!

[pariunt]

There must be something that's worth betting.

We'll cross that bridge when we come to it.

[The more important part is the Shenanigans, Astarion!! Anyway, one short jaunt later, here we are in front of the statues! Up first is...]

Well, I know my answer to the question, but let's hear your thoughts on it! Do you think I'd have any interest in sleeping with Lady Athena?

[pariunt]

[He looks Zvei up and down appraisingly. The real thing, not the statue, because the guy is standing right there.]

Perhaps you might be tempted, but I assume you'd be smart enough not to. And if you need more discouragement, I can tell you about Gale.

[He probably just wants to trash-talk Gale.]

[necromants]

You might be giving me a bit too much credit.

[That is to say: he would totally sleep with Athena. But like, out of curiosity more than attraction. Not that she's not attractive? But like. She's a goddess. Come on.]

Do remind me to ask about Gale later. But for now!

[Up next is Ai! Zvei taps a finger to his chin as he reads over her information and studies her statue curiously.]

Hmm, it's a bit difficult to tell for Miss Ai. I haven't met her yet, so I can't say for certain! What do you think?

You really should refrain.

[But then again, Zvei probably wouldn't make the act sound like the most boring thing possible. Astarion doesn't care enough to try to talk him out of it.

But, as it is!

He looks at Ai's statue carefully.]

...No. Look at that lack of information. She's too worried about her image.

[necromants]

[No comment on the first part!!]

Do you think so?

[His eyes flick back to the information listed about him. The idea that this was information we offered up about ourselves... Hmm.]

I was assuming the information was what was gathered about us, but perhaps that makes more sense. Someone who doesn't want to talk about themselves... Yes, let's go with your answer.

[pariunt]

I don't know if it was given up willingly. There are things I would not have on mine.

[Why the fuck does his openly name Cazador, for one.]

But for there to be so little information about her, it means she's quite careful about information getting out. So the result doesn't change.

[necromants]

Oh? How curious.

[His mismatched eyes flick over to Astarion's information for a moment before he returns his gaze to the man himself.]

But you're likely right. Someone that cautious wouldn't take such a chance. Moving on!

[Up next is Vanity!]

Ah, now this one I've met! Delightful woman; she'd only have an interest in sleeping with Lady Athena if she could get something out of it.

[He sounds amused by it though, there's nothing negative in that assessment.]

[pariunt]

Agreed. She'd need it to be a convincing offer, I think.

[He likes Vanity.]

More power? I'm not certain if wealth alone would be enough to sway her.

[necromants]

I doubt she'd have any need of wealth, since it seems she was running some kind of company... Though power... Yes, power I could see. She's a very driven woman.

[Not a bad thing, just a Vanity Thing.]

Up next...! I'm not familiar with miss Wendy, are you? Given this information, I'd imagine that she'd be a bit too cautious...

[pariunt]

I can't say I am, no. That whole "cheated Death" thing makes me think she'd be reluctant to take any chances.

[necromants]

Precisely! Especially with "dislikes: surprises" listed on there.

...Do you think the Professor even finds human-like people attractive at all?
