It's really not so bad around here. Despite the sky, and the state of the land, things are fairly calm. You've got plenty of time to get used to it, and each other. Maybe this'll be easier than it seems.

[it's not hard to catch up with him- he's fast as any very fit man would be expected to be. But his focus has always been on his bulk over his grace. Still, he maintains even as the race wears on.

Eventually he ends up flopped in the cool grass, panting, hair sticking to his face and turned brass by the sweat]

[He pauses, then lifts a slightly adrenaline shaking hand in a peace offering

[She hesitates for a moment, then takes the offered hand and- doesn't quite go for the crushing grip again? But the implication that she could if she wanted to is there. The smile she gives is calculating.]

You still would use horses, wouldn't you. It fits.

[Ferdinand does not seem to pick up the calculation. In fact he seems happy that they have run out their tense energy in this way! Oh if only it was so easy with SOME people he knows back home!]

I do not simply 'use' horses. I am an expert equestrian!
