Week one

You've all met Athena, and she's made her point quite clear. She's fully committed to making this world better, and you're the ones who agreed to lend a hand. Something she's obviously quite thankful for.

It's really not so bad around here. Despite the sky, and the state of the land, things are fairly calm. You've got plenty of time to get used to it, and each other. Maybe this'll be easier than it seems.

[Man who is literally part plant person not here to judge that either but that sure is interesting... if he didn't know better, he would wonder if this man were some type of fiend. He cants his head slightly to the side to get a better look at the tentacle, trying to see if it looks like just an ordinary appendage.

"Ordinary," thinks the man with hair that basically looks like tentacles due to the part plant person-ness--]

That is not a spell?

[Unfortunate, because he wouldn't mind trying to learn it if it were.]

[Listen, maybe your hair is just Extremely Anime. He ain't judging.]

It is not! This is a part of my body - all deimori have one unique physical trait, and this is mine!

[A second tentacle soon joins the first, rolling the scroll back up and neatly depositing it in the pile before both slip back up into his back, the labcoat settling back against his shoulders and back as though that didn't just happen. Aside from the off color (purple as opposed to his light, sickly skin color) they do appear to be physical appendages, though notably they do not have suction cups anywhere so they're not quite comparable to octopus or squid tentacles.]

I see. How fascinating.

[They're kind of like a shoopuf's trunk... that would certainly be useful on multiple fronts.]

Some of the races of Spira have their own distinct physical traits, but those traits exist across all members of that race. I have never before heard of a race where each member was truly unique. I imagine that must make things... complicated.
