You've all met Athena, and she's made her point quite clear. She's fully committed to making this world better, and you're the ones who agreed to lend a hand. Something she's obviously quite thankful for.

It's really not so bad around here. Despite the sky, and the state of the land, things are fairly calm. You've got plenty of time to get used to it, and each other. Maybe this'll be easier than it seems.

[There's different sorts in other places, probably.]

Celestia has...spoken, some, of wishing for a successor. But I believe she is grooming her personal student for the role. Neither of us has ever had foals, and what remains of our familial line in this age...'twould be foolish to let them rule simply on account of their blood.

The ruler of my own nation is working to install something similar there.

[Luna might know some of Celestia's mind, but she doubts that even Twilight Sparkle does right now. It's hardly public.]

[he glances away. While doing a brisk morning jog doesn't seem to be the time to talk about war. But he brought this on himself]

It will take time, and a lot of work- I do not know if it is the same for ponies, but humans can be quite resistant to change, especially when it comes swiftly. But I have faith in her efforts.

...I suppose it is not so different. But we are in an age of change regardless.

[Given, you know. There's now a whole other princess they all just forgot existed for a thousand years.]

Ah. Well, I suppose. But the night also has it's benefits. The beautiful stars that guide ships. The easing of the heat of the day. The shadows that hide a lover's rendezvous~

Indeed! I have always thought so! And...there have been some ponies who did, now and again.

[ More so since her return. Maybe it's the rise of the sciences, and study of the night sky? Luna's not entirely convinced Celestia didn't do something, though. ]

But it is hardly the common outlook.
