Week Six
You've survived, for lack of better wording, the latest week of trials and tribulations. This one had been more costly than most: Typhon's machinations have brought your group to nearly half the size it was when Athena first brought you to this island. Whether it ends with him or with you is still too soon to make out. One thing's for certain. Things cannot be allowed to continue as they are.
Speaking of continuing, the next floor has been revealed to you. Just how far down this island goes is a bit of a mystery, but you get the feeling that you're close to something important. Maybe that thing Athena wanted you to find before Typhon does. You can ruminate on that as you watch the waters below. Waves still lap at the cliffs, but it all seems lower than it did weeks ago. Like the ocean itself is shrinking...

investigation
And, down there, she finds it. A massive shape nestled in the depths. The mind of a Titan, for the moment, slumbers.]

A large part of her hadn't expected to find anything. She hovers in place for a moment, unsure. In all likelihood, she should have said something to the others first. This could very well be dangerous to her. But, being here is dangerous to them. If she can find anything that might be of use to the herd...
Carefully, trying her best to be small and quiet and secret, she slips in. ]

Luna finds herself in a space that's a bit more fluid than the dreams of ponies or man. The world around here - if it can even be rightfully called that - is continually shifting. Like a continuing story, it plays out before her eyes; the story of Typhon.
Past events run rampant through the Titan's mind. His battle against the gods, Zeus striking him down and imprisoning him. There's a sense of deep obsession here as the moments leading up to his breaking free play over and over again.]

Frowning to herself, Luna remains tucked in the corner of the dream she's currently inhabiting, watching. She joked before about inflicting a nightmare on him, but after calming down she can see that it's far more valuable to try and gain something from this, other than petty revenge. ]

Petty revenge can wait, it seems, as time seems to skip forwards. Natural world giving way to an ethereal space of stars and void. There, on a platform in the nothingness, Luna witnesses the scene of Typhon's second defeat.]
"I say spare him," [A tall woman bearing a remarkable resemblance to Athena lowers her staff.] "But confinement?"
"The poison, I'm too weak... It's eating me alive!"
"What does your heart say?"
[The glowing figures, each taller than the biggest statues in the temple, look down to a young woman with respect. They wait on her verdict.]
"I say we spare him!"
[Try as he might, digging claws the size of Luna into the stonework, Typhon cannot keep his grip. He bellows out in rage one last time as he tumbles back into the abyss.
And you, Luna, are tumbling with him.]

Luna doesn't really bother trying to break her fall; she just spreads her wings to control it a little more. It's only natural to get dragged down with the dreamer. Mostly, just doesn't want to flail about and attract undue attention. ]

You're alone now, in a dark, desolate part of this void. Typhon is laid out on a platform, breathing slowly. His wounds burned, but healing. He needs energy.]
Those... I cannot die now... Not before I crush them, and make my world a reality...
It seems you need some assistance?
[There is someơ̶̢̭͔̱̺͔͇͛̆̃͆̋͝ͅñ̶̛̦ę̸͙̥̌̇͛̈́̃ here.]

You...!
I have picked a poor time, father of monsters. But I'm sure you're in no shape to argue. You're weak, and while I could probably end you... I believe we have grounds for an alliance.
Ally with you?! A god? I would rather perish.
I am no longer just a god. I am more than that. And I'm sure that is a poor excuse for a lie. If you help me, I will provide more than your mind could even dream of.
