Wednesday Group Lunch

[Sometime mid-morning on Wednesday, the Eatery and Kitchen will suddenly be bustling with activity. First, the sounds of cookery start to trickle out into the hall, quickly followed by some delicious smells. If one peeks in, they might see Lebkuchen kneading dough while Cerejiera gives her some instructions on modern oven use. There are others chopping vegetables, and some point Ranma’s cooking something on the stove. Soon enough, food starts to come out and fill the table. Fresh bread and soup, various other dishes, as well as apfelstreudel and lebkuchen for dessert. To drink, there’s coffee (Vanity) and tea (Sayo) and some kind of fruity, delicious punch that combines peaches, grenadine and something almond-y, reminiscent of something familiar to at least one of you. At the same time, the table starts to be set up, plates and cups levatating through the air with alicorn magic while Aoi has been trusted with…the napkins. Once the table is mostly set, runners are sent out to invite (or strongly encourage, if needed) those missing to a lunch in the Eatery. Which is now for sure 100% safe from Rube Goldberg-esque accidents, courtesy of Alex.

So come in! Grab a seat, a drink, and some food. Time to get to know each other a little better.]

Yup! Ever since I was twelve.

[ She says it quite casually - and then her expression breaks into a sheepish smile. ]

Jeez, I didn't really think when I said it but... wow, it really has been a long time.

That's impressive... You're twenty, right? So eight years...

...that's a long time for a performing career, huh...? [It's phrased like a question to herself. Mutsumi's brows knit together.]

[ She laughs. ]

It sure is! Especially for an idol. Even the ones who make it big don't usually get far into their twenties before people start asking what they're going to do once they retire. People like fresh faces up on stage, I guess.

[ Or rather, they prefer young girls over women. ]

Mm... I'm glad that Misumi-san will still have Ave Mujica when she's older, then.

Saki definitely won't let us break up. [Not again. Not ever.]

Ooh, is Ave Mujica your band, then? That's a cool name.

[ She has no idea what it means but. It sounds neat. ]

Mhm... it's a theater troupe, too. We put on plays before our set sometimes between songs...

Saki writes the script. She's really incredible.

So you're doing theater stuff on top of your music...

[ It makes her heart twinge, just a little bit. But she covers it up with a nice enough smile. ]

That's really incredible! You guys are a bunch of multi-talents, heehee.

[Mutsumi suddenly freezes, clamping up. This is what she gets for being too comfortable when talking to someone!]
