Each morning a small corner of the eatery transforms into a small cafe and coffee shop. The coffee maker is moved in from the kitchen, running hot and fresh on a regular cycle, the smell of Lebkuchen’s baked goods fills the air, and Vanity stands behind the counter manning the newest outpost in Quark’s little empire with an array of sweeteners, creams, and flavorings at her beck and call.

Occasionally a lone Zubat swoops down from the rafters to greet customers, or clings to Vanity’s shoulder until she tiredly shoos it away. All part of the coffee shop ambience, very intentional.

Later in the day, usually a little after noon, (unless, for some reason, Quark is indisposed,) Quark's Bar opens. Located on the third floor down from the main floor, in front of the entrance hangs a banner, proclaiming the place as "QUARK'S" in bold lettering. Once inside, the room, bedecked with grapevines, offers plenty of couches to lounge on. There are bowls of peanuts placed at the arms of the couches for easy snacking. If you'd like something more, on display at the corner of the bar counter is a selection of pastries, fresh-baked by Lebkuchen, who, as the official baker, might also be there. If you're hungry for something more substantial, there's a menu with a list of dishes that Ranma will be happy to cook up.

Quark will be behind the counter most of the time, though he'll certainly come personally deliver drinks now and then to familiar faces. Aside from him, Aoi and Cerejeira are also behind the bar now and then, but also moving around the room as waitresses. The dabo table is stationed in a corner of the room, now seeming strangely lonely. In front of one of the couches is the tongo board, occasionally in use by some familiar white fuzzy Winions.

Frequent visitors might note that there's always four drinks made and set on one of the shelves behind the counter.

In the rafters, the Zubats have migrated from the Eatery. They'll either be up there, or outside, and one or two of them might come down to say hello. If they do, Quark is shooing them away again, but they only go back up to the ceiling. Fritz the German Shepherd is lounging either by the counter or perhaps wandering around to visit patrons to recieve pets. Behind him often trails a beige Eye-pod, staring at customers and blinking curiously. Depending on the hour, Critwo will either be strapped into some kind of swaddle on Quark's back, or tucked into a small nest made of blankets behind the counter.

Outside the door to the bar is a sign, handwritten:

Every evening at dusk (unless, for some reason, Quark is indisposed,) the Eatery transforms into Quark's Bar. The table, now with a crack patched up ith dried glue on one end, becomes a bartop with chairs lined up on one side. Some of the extra chairs are placed along the wall behind the bar as a makeshift bench for ingredients, glasses, ice, and anything else. There are bowls of peanuts placed on top of the bar for snacking. On one end of the bar there's a selection of pastries, fresh-baked by Lebkuchen, who might also be there.

On one end of the table, opposite from the crack, is a interesting look board game. Next to it is a plate of lebkuchen, left out for a specific bunch of fuzzy creatures that seem to like them. In another corner is a roulette-esque kind of game. Frequent visitors might note that there's always two drinks made and set out near the back edge every evening.

In the rafters, there's a whole swarm of Zubats now, and one or two of them might come down to say hello. If they do, Quark is shooing them away again, but they only go back up to the ceiling. Fritz the German Shepherd is either laying underneath the bar or by the door, or walking around to different patrons for pets. Depending on the hour, the creation that Alex made out of clay and then brought to life in an attempt to resurrect Crito will either be strapped into some kind of swaddle on Quark's back, or tucked into a small nest made of blankets on a couple chairs behind the bar.

[Sometime mid-morning on Wednesday, the Eatery and Kitchen will suddenly be bustling with activity. First, the sounds of cookery start to trickle out into the hall, quickly followed by some delicious smells. If one peeks in, they might see Lebkuchen kneading dough while Cerejiera gives her some instructions on modern oven use. There are others chopping vegetables, and some point Ranma’s cooking something on the stove. Soon enough, food starts to come out and fill the table. Fresh bread and soup, various other dishes, as well as apfelstreudel and lebkuchen for dessert. To drink, there’s coffee (Vanity) and tea (Sayo) and some kind of fruity, delicious punch that combines peaches, grenadine and something almond-y, reminiscent of something familiar to at least one of you. At the same time, the table starts to be set up, plates and cups levatating through the air with alicorn magic while Aoi has been trusted with…the napkins. Once the table is mostly set, runners are sent out to invite (or strongly encourage, if needed) those missing to a lunch in the Eatery. Which is now for sure 100% safe from Rube Goldberg-esque accidents, courtesy of Alex.

So come in! Grab a seat, a drink, and some food. Time to get to know each other a little better.]
