Wednesday Group Lunch

[Sometime mid-morning on Wednesday, the Eatery and Kitchen will suddenly be bustling with activity. First, the sounds of cookery start to trickle out into the hall, quickly followed by some delicious smells. If one peeks in, they might see Lebkuchen kneading dough while Cerejiera gives her some instructions on modern oven use. There are others chopping vegetables, and some point Ranma’s cooking something on the stove. Soon enough, food starts to come out and fill the table. Fresh bread and soup, various other dishes, as well as apfelstreudel and lebkuchen for dessert. To drink, there’s coffee (Vanity) and tea (Sayo) and some kind of fruity, delicious punch that combines peaches, grenadine and something almond-y, reminiscent of something familiar to at least one of you. At the same time, the table starts to be set up, plates and cups levatating through the air with alicorn magic while Aoi has been trusted with…the napkins. Once the table is mostly set, runners are sent out to invite (or strongly encourage, if needed) those missing to a lunch in the Eatery. Which is now for sure 100% safe from Rube Goldberg-esque accidents, courtesy of Alex.

So come in! Grab a seat, a drink, and some food. Time to get to know each other a little better.]

Mmhmm. There were only six or seven important locations in the whole game.

...Honestly, that's not that different from in the Paper Moon. There's only a few sections. Those are pretty big, but still. I guess simulations are pretty limited that way.

Were they at least fun locations?

Yeah. Aoi got to go to the cat store and the batting cages. Then the manga cafe Aoi sleeps at, school, and Shinichi's house.

Oh. That sounds... [tact. remember tact.] ...exciting?

...So, this is your first time seeing any other place?

First time Aoi's been somewhere else, yeah. Has Cerejeira ever been anywhere else?

[murchada]

...No. So, um. First time for me, too.

I guess it's kind of nice.

Have you seen the cliffs? Aoi didn't know the ocean was that blue.

...do you think Athena will let us have a beach event?

[murchada]

...Huh.

[she actually considers that.]

A beach event... Like, with swimsuits and, um... what else do people do... make sandcastles?

[perking up immediately] Did someone say something about a beach?

Athena needs to give us a beach event.

[Aoi raises her hand, confident that Quark will understand the appeal.]

Swimsuit CGs! Sandcastles! Popsicle stands!

Is this another visual novel thing?

[Aoi nods.] Beach events make everybody closer. Aoi's last game didn't have one, though.

...You wanna go do it real bad, huh?

[yourheroine]

Yeah!

[She stares at Cerejeira as if this will make her agree to go to the beach with her.]

We'll have to see how to get some. Maybe we can ask Athena...

If you say so. I've never actually been to a beach either.

We're supposed to be rebuilding this place, there's probably room for a few nice beaches.
