Bar Mingle: Week 3
Every evening at dusk (unless, for some reason, Quark is indisposed,) the Eatery transforms into Quark's Bar. The table, now with a crack patched up ith dried glue on one end, becomes a bartop with chairs lined up on one side. Some of the extra chairs are placed along the wall behind the bar as a makeshift bench for ingredients, glasses, ice, and anything else. Frequent visitors might note that there's always an untouched drink made and set out every evening. There are bowls of peanuts placed on top of the bar for snacking. On one end of the bar there's a selection of pastries, fresh-baked by Lebkuchen, who might also be there.
On one end of the table, opposite from the crack, is a interesting look board game. Next to it is a plate of lebkuchen, left out for a specific bunch of fuzzy creatures that seem to like them. In another corner is a roulette-esque kind of game.
In the rafters, there's a whole swarm of Zubats now, and one or two of them might come down to say hello. If they do, Quark is shooing them away again, but they only go back up to the ceiling.
Outside the door to the Eatery is a sign, handwritten, and further inside, the menu tacked up in a couple places behind the bar:
Come on in and take a load off!

NO RED MURDEROUS ROBOTS ALLOWED
Non-alcoholic drinks: 2 tokens

Evening. The usual?

[He'll grab the tokens after he places his supplies down. His mood seems to have greatly improved since the trial at least]

You workin' on something? [he nods towards the supplies]

[8D]
Well, not necessarily right now, since you ARE working. But I took your request very seriously!
I made diagrams
[he opens one up to show. It's a fucking spell circle. Only Ferdinand is like... no artist so it's not perfectly round or evenly spaced. But his handwriting is, of course, immaculate.
Still, maybe this is why his Magic stat is kinda shit.]

[Misane shrugs a little]
We tossed one into the pyres near the cornucopia. She was given it back intact by one of those little minion guys almost immediately.

You talked about being willing to do what you need to to survive.
[Tossing out his exact words is an option, but Vanity leaves it be for now.]
Why the FUCK does that not extend to learning how to throw a punch?
no subject
Because! [yep, flimsy excuse is still absolutely flimsy so as to be non-existant. He blows out a breath, frustrated, hands going to the edge of the bar as he leans on it.] ...look, I don't know! The only time I've done any kind of training for this sort of thing was to impress a woman, and even in that someone else ended up doing the fighting for me. It's just not me!

Oh. Yeah. Ferdinand is teaching me some magic, so I figured I'd get some practice in.
