Week Three Meeting

[Welcome back to the Eatery. Perhaps the mood is more somber than it was during the last meeting in here, but once again there is food and (non-alcoholic) punch to go around. Quark, Wendy and Vanity occupy the head of the table, but there’s plenty of other seats for both those that helped set up and those that didn’t. Looks like it’s time to put your heads together again and hopefully sort some things out.

Once everyone’s seated and in attendance, Quark pushes to his feet.]

Alright, we’re all pretty tired after yesterday so I’m not going to draw this out. Let’s just get started. [and he motions at Vanity, before sitting back down]

In hindsight, it was pretty funny, especially after Alex threw that bucket of water.

We all looked like wet targs after a heavy rainstorm. That's something you'd see in a comedy show of some kind.

Great, I can use my powers for comedy. Just what I always wanted.

I'm sure Dr. Bashir would tell you laughter is the best medicine.

Maybe I should drench you and you could demonstrate.

[lskhdfs WELL MAYBE HE SHOULD HAVE SEEN THIS COMING as he gets completely soaked in his chair, squawking]

Wh--hey! Stop that--I thought you said you couldn't control it yet!

Hm, sorry? Didn't you think this was funny?

I thought it was funny in hindsight! [his voice has gone into screech mode] Not when it was happening!

Then wait a day and it'll be comedy gold!

Of course I do. It can cause a whole lot of law suits and questions about employee safety.

Anyway, we didn't slip, and it's funny in hindsight.
