Week Three Meeting

[Welcome back to the Eatery. Perhaps the mood is more somber than it was during the last meeting in here, but once again there is food and (non-alcoholic) punch to go around. Quark, Wendy and Vanity occupy the head of the table, but there’s plenty of other seats for both those that helped set up and those that didn’t. Looks like it’s time to put your heads together again and hopefully sort some things out.

Once everyone’s seated and in attendance, Quark pushes to his feet.]

Alright, we’re all pretty tired after yesterday so I’m not going to draw this out. Let’s just get started. [and he motions at Vanity, before sitting back down]

The magic I have been using is my own-- it is the same ability I possess in my world, though somewhat weakened here. Certainly I am not helpless even without whatever power I may have been granted, but I have yet to feel any sort of... draw towards what that power may be.

Perhaps we simply have not encountered the right situation for it to awaken.

Maybe working with someone will wake it up. Better to know what it is before you really have to use it.

I agree-- it is unwise to attempt to utilize a power for the first time under desperate circumstances. Panic and fear are hardly conducive to the use of any sort of magic.

But of course. From the sound of it, there are others here in the same predicament as I am. The sooner we are able to uncover our abilities, the better.
