Second trial
The time has come once again. Gather in the arena, it is time for judgement.
[The murky weather outside reflects the mood of the walk out to the cliffs. Once again, several soldiers have stepped free of Typhon's veins to stand guard over the arena. Maybe it's a mistake, but they seem to offer their silent condolence, if not their indifference.
With everyone gathered, a great rift opens once more outside the barrier. Typhon reveals himself, this time only from the waist up. Peering down from his glowing portal, blanketed in the last light drizzles outside your shimmering dome.]
Bah... So safe and secure within your bubble. Or, perhaps not anymore. [He moves to rest a palm on the barrier, and recoils as it once again stings his palm.] See what your Athena has 'gifted' you - nothing but strife. A broken world that needs rebuilding... But no matter. I will complete that task once we are through.
You have your evidence. Now, begin.
[TRIAL START]

That's not panic. This isn't like what happened last week. You had quite enough time to realize what you were doing was wrong, you had enough time to doubt Typhon's words when we have no guarantee he can give us what we promise, but you still decided to do it anyway.
This blood on your hands will never wash off.

Even if you disappear, people will remember you, right?
[Aoi quietly walks closer to Wendy.]

[She's shaking. It's.... just the same. As it's always been. She messed up this time but if she acted like a good person they wouldn't have believed her either.]
So, you don't have to waste thinking about me anymore.

No. Aoi wants to remember you.

[She's shaking. She's trembling. She's crying so hard and... she knows she did something unforgivable. She knows that. It took hours to set that up. Every step she yelled at herself. That maybe she should stop. That maybe she could actually do something this time. Something to stem the tide.
Selling people out... fuck, even if she didn't say anything people would have found her out. She never was going to get through a trial.
She was just. Too emotional.]
...I'm not worth it. I can't be like Alex. I can't save people. I'm not... not a good person.

[Her voice wavers with emotion. This kind of humanity has to be worth something.]
Wendy should have had the chance to get a better ending.

[She holds her. It's small. And slippery. But she knows this is the end. The end of the line. It was going to happen eventually. No one escapes it, no one can hide from it.
There are no accidents. No coincidences. No escape.]
So did Alex and I took that away from him. ...if you don't want to forget then don't but I'm not the main character in this story. That's how it was written.

You're a coward and an idiot, but I wouldn't say you deserve this.
[even if he's very, very pissed over this]
