That will be enough. Enter the arena, now.

[Typhon sounds almost reserved now. His tone no less commanding, he knows you'll need to enter the arena eventually. And, when you do arrive, he's already waiting. Emerged halfway out of the rift to watch you're approach

The wounds accrued in last week's shitshow have been healing, but marks remain. What you did - what Omega did - ate away at parts of him that Typhon is still growing back. At first, he's silent, tentacles of teeth gnashing over his shoulders, bellying a rage.
]

Look at you all, a pantheon that shrinks day by day. This is the godly burden Athena has forced upon you. And if she were here, able to...

[He catches himself.]

This... is certain to be an exciting trial, I'm sure. Begin, if you can. I shall be watching intently.

[Evidence]
[Just as you believe you’ve gathered enough to make a case, the sky crackles a hazy red.]

Enough! Enter the arena at once!

[There’s a change in Typhon’s tone. The bluster of his usual pride replaced with a more tangible frustration. Like the thunder he summons, his rage punctuates every word.

That matter aside, all the survivors eventually return to the arena. The mood is dour, not helped by the surrounding. For the first time, this place was a fresh murder scene; bloodstains and scorch marks continue to stain the stones. It seems that there just wasn't time to remove Ferdinand's body from the scene. So it remains, impaled on his own spear, left to fill the void of Ferdinand's absence from the surviving party in the worst way.

Again, a rift opens beyond the barrier, and Typhon forces his head through.
]

You know why you are here, do you not? Now, go! Complete your task, find the culprit or die trying!

[TRIAL START]
Enough. Enter the arena.

[By this point, the sun has reached high in the sky, shining unobstructed for once between rifts in Typhon's gloom. The downside being the heat currently beating on your neck. Somehow, the undead soldiers set to stand watch by the monster Titan seem just as unhappy about the weather.

You're here now. With whatever evidence you've gathered. Three are dead, and potentially more to follow. All that leaves is--

Typhon. His rift opens once more outside of the barrier, forming slowly. A great clawed hand and writhing tentacles grip and tear at the edges as if it can't open fast enough. Finally, he reveals himself again. This time, he doesn't leave the rift itself at all, simply presenting his monstrous face through the opening.
]

Well? Do you require an explanation? You know what must be done by now: begin the trial. I will remain ready to prepare judgement.

[TRIAL START]
That... should suffice, I believe. Enter the arena, your time of judgement has come.

[Short, terse. Typhon is wasting little time today, and it seems you shouldn't either.

Dark soldiers from veins in the earth flank your entrance to the area. Overhead, the clouds give a burst of lightning and a clap of thunder. Past the barrier, Typhon's rift is wrenched open by a giant fist, slowing growing... until Typhon's upper half is revealed.
]

You have done well... once again, proving that you are beholden to these squalid natures the gods imprinted on you, in their own hubris!

[Typhon raises his fist... but it falls back.]

...Now, begin. Give the performance I'm sure your darling goddess would give. I will be watching.

[You have your evidence. He's waiting.]

The time has come once again. Gather in the arena, it is time for judgement.

[The murky weather outside reflects the mood of the walk out to the cliffs. Once again, several soldiers have stepped free of Typhon's veins to stand guard over the arena. Maybe it's a mistake, but they seem to offer their silent condolence, if not their indifference.

With everyone gathered, a great rift opens once more outside the barrier. Typhon reveals himself, this time only from the waist up. Peering down from his glowing portal, blanketed in the last light drizzles outside your shimmering dome.
]

Bah... So safe and secure within your bubble. Or, perhaps not anymore. [He moves to rest a palm on the barrier, and recoils as it once again stings his palm.] See what your Athena has 'gifted' you - nothing but strife. A broken world that needs rebuilding... But no matter. I will complete that task once we are through.

You have your evidence. Now, begin.

[TRIAL START]

That should be enough. Gather at the arena, for it is judgement time.

[A foreboding air follows you as you venture towards the cliffs. Up above, the sky thrums red, and multiple rifts in the air open up. Several of those twisted, reddened soldiers rise to stand at the edges of the arena, pole arms in hand. They don't attack as you enter - they're here to ensure you don't leave.

You finally gather beneath the shimmering light of Athena's barrier, and you watch as a massive rift tears the air apart on the other side of it.

And Typhon steps out. It seems almost difficult for him, but there he floats. His towering, monstrous visage, several pairs of eyes watching you congregate. A wide, fang-tipped smile spreads on his face.
]

It appears your kind took initiative into their own hands. For that, you are braver than the measly gods your kind curries favor for. But now, the true test begins: find the one responsible for the death of your fellow mortal. The truth rests in your hands.

I will be watching... closely.
