Afterparty
[After the execution finishes and Wendy is dragged down into the Earth by that absolute horrific monstrosity of a creature and Typhon gives his goodbye, Quark will stand there for a long moment in the silence, before announcing, in a voice that wavers while trying to go for neutral:]
The bar’ll be open. Sitting around alone isn’t going to help anyone. [he turns to look at Ferdinand] Ferdinand, you’re with me. I need someone to move the table.
[and, taking Cerejeira’s elbow, he’s going to head out of the Arena. So...post trial, the Eatery’s been moved into bar configuration by Ferdinand and Quark. There’s been several of the extra togas gathered and folded to be used as blankets. There are snacks from the pantry brought out and placed on plates and in bowls and left out to eat. The bar is open, but so is the kitchen, if anyone wants to make something.
Both Ferdinand and Quark can be found behind the bar, the latter attempting to teach the former how to use the replicator he’s now got back there in addition to the other drink components. At least it’s keeping them busy. They’re both there to serve drinks, however.
The door is open.]

[Of course Aoi's gonna follow the hallway voice. Though just to be sure...
Does she have any bars on her phone?]
no subject
The voice... isn't in the hall. Actually, it seems to be coming from within the Armory.]
Can anyone hear me out there? Please... are you still there?
no subject
[That’s who it must be. Aoi heads into the armory. Maybe it’s a pocket of signal that she neglected before.]
no subject
But there is that statue, built into the support pillar. The one with the owl, gazing down at you. It seems to shimmer oddly. Like two images overlaying each other.
...Did the eyes just move?]
Aoi?
no subject
[You'd think she would be more concerned, but this is just natural to her.]
Is that your transceiver? The call didn't work in the arena.
no subject
Yes, I've been able to present myself through this statue. It's not easy, from where I am.
no subject
...it's getting harder here. Aoi misses you.
no subject
...I miss you all.
I've found the weapon, but fallen into a trap. I can't escape right now, but there is something you can do you assist me.
no subject
[Her answer is immediate.]
What does Aoi need to do to get you back here?
no subject
You must delve deeper into this place. At the center of it all, there's an item of great power. I couldn't reach it before but perhaps you all may have a chance.
no subject
Aoi will tell everybody where we need to go. Typhon’s bad end won’t happen.
[Her faith may be restored, at least partially.]
Oh. What’s the key item look like?
no subject
[The statue goes silent. The shimmer over it fades until there is nothing but a dead chunk of marble gazing silently at Aoi.]
