Afterparty
[After the execution finishes and Wendy is dragged down into the Earth by that absolute horrific monstrosity of a creature and Typhon gives his goodbye, Quark will stand there for a long moment in the silence, before announcing, in a voice that wavers while trying to go for neutral:]
The bar’ll be open. Sitting around alone isn’t going to help anyone. [he turns to look at Ferdinand] Ferdinand, you’re with me. I need someone to move the table.
[and, taking Cerejeira’s elbow, he’s going to head out of the Arena. So...post trial, the Eatery’s been moved into bar configuration by Ferdinand and Quark. There’s been several of the extra togas gathered and folded to be used as blankets. There are snacks from the pantry brought out and placed on plates and in bowls and left out to eat. The bar is open, but so is the kitchen, if anyone wants to make something.
Both Ferdinand and Quark can be found behind the bar, the latter attempting to teach the former how to use the replicator he’s now got back there in addition to the other drink components. At least it’s keeping them busy. They’re both there to serve drinks, however.
The door is open.]

Re: Craft Room
But Aoi should only wear the bracelet when we really need a lot of good luck. It'll be in my pocket the rest of the time for safe-keeping.
[She has a few items like that, doesn't she? Too special to wear all the time.]

I don't see why you can't? [Heck if he knows. He's seen people wear weirder stuff, like a mailbox. So why not wear what's tougher string?] You can use it to tie [pointing at Wendy's bracelet] that together, 'til you can get it fixed.
[Assuming, you know, the bracelet's owner didn't use it all up. Ranma breathes out, running a hand through his hair.]
After that mess? We're gonna need all the good luck we can get.

[Aoi frowns in thought.]
Does Ranma hate Wendy?
no subject
[That question takes him aback. For the fact that he didn't expect her or anyone to ask that. Hate's... a very strong word. Ranma regains his bearings, and...]
Nah. [Simple, straight to the point.] I'm pissed she set up that murder trap that could've killed you or anyone else here, and I hate that she killed Alex all for that bull jerk's bluff. [...] But no, I don't hate her. It's all Typon's fault.
[Takes a lot more than that to get him to hate someone.]
no subject
Good. She wasn't a bad person. She tried to be a good sister.
It's not okay that Alex is dead, but...Aoi doesn't want anybody to hate Wendy either.

[Aoi... Why must the universe be so cruel someone as sweet like Aoi has to deal with a crappy 'God' and get put through a murdergame?
Ranma briefly heard them talking about her sister in the trial, and now, he feels more like a hypocrite than ever. If it was his mom in danger of literal death, he might've fallen into temptation himself. Like Wendy, or Crito.]
She wasn't. None of 'em were bad people. Athena wouldn't've picked them for godhood if they were, would she?
[Gods are supposed to be omniscient. Athena had to have known and had complete faith in their capabilities.]
Rest assured, the list of people I hate is very short. [Reserved for only the worst filth of the earth he knows.] Wendy doesn't come close t' being on it.
[He offers her a subdued smile.]

[She looks up at Ranma's little smile, and...something feels familiar. A sense of faith she hasn't really felt in what feels like forever.]
Everybody is. It's sad and scary here, but sometimes, when we're all together in a meeting...my body feels lighter. Like it did on the roof with my friends.

She is. Most gods I've heard tales of turn out to be massive tools or full of themselves.
[Athena was- is a nice subversion of all he's heard.]
It's a crappy situation, but not having to go through it alone is... Well, it's not nice, but less crappy, y'know? [Does that makes any sense? Heck if he knows. Ranma's head perks at the last mention.] Sitting on the roof's relaxing, I do it all the time back home. It's a good spot to watch the stars at night.

Does Ranma eat lunch on the school roof? That's what Aoi's friends did. It tastes better when you're sitting higher up.
