[After the execution finishes and Wendy is dragged down into the Earth by that absolute horrific monstrosity of a creature and Typhon gives his goodbye, Quark will stand there for a long moment in the silence, before announcing, in a voice that wavers while trying to go for neutral:]

The bar’ll be open. Sitting around alone isn’t going to help anyone. [he turns to look at Ferdinand] Ferdinand, you’re with me. I need someone to move the table.

[and, taking Cerejeira’s elbow, he’s going to head out of the Arena. So...post trial, the Eatery’s been moved into bar configuration by Ferdinand and Quark. There’s been several of the extra togas gathered and folded to be used as blankets. There are snacks from the pantry brought out and placed on plates and in bowls and left out to eat. The bar is open, but so is the kitchen, if anyone wants to make something.

Both Ferdinand and Quark can be found behind the bar, the latter attempting to teach the former how to use the replicator he’s now got back there in addition to the other drink components. At least it’s keeping them busy. They’re both there to serve drinks, however.

Were I at my full power, my threads could take the place of Athena's shield, and would be much easier to bend as needed. I was able to protect all of Okhema that way.

[Was... she hopes the people are safe. She knows Phainon would fight to the very last breath to protect the innocents. So much she doesn't know now....]

But it's been... muted, somehow. I'm not sure if it's some effect of this world, or Athena, or Typhon.

There are a number of spells of mine I cannot use. Perhaps there's something about this world limiting us?

I can't imagine Typhon would be the reason, given what his goals seem to be. But I suppose Athena could be responsible for it, too. It's hard to say with her gone.

Perhaps it has something to do with the new powers we were gifted. Like some sort of interference.

[It's hard to get a good read on Athena, but she does seem to be genuine in how she struggles with her burdens. Aglaea still doesn't have one hundred percent trust in her, but... it doesn't make sense, that she would knowingly dampen their abilities.]

What have you been unable to cast?

Most of my spells. There are only three I'm still able to use. Find Familiar, Mage Hand, and Ice Knife.

It's strange, though. Find Familiar has similarly been altered. My familiar is only able to take on one form— the form of a cat.

[Algaea has probably seen it around, since it's out more often that not.]

I can't make sense of it.
