It's a doll that can be used for...well, observation and spying. It needs to be controlled directly, but your senses are shared with the doll, letting you see and hear everything at the doll's position.

I can easily make a new doll, but I need to find gems if I want to make suee it can still observe even when it's put in a container or something.

I think nobody will figure out the doll is spying on them. They won't put it in a container.

About the eyes, what are they usually sourced from?

True, but sometimes it gets put away, especially if it's passed off as just a toy. Makes it terribly inconvenient without the enchantment.

Normally I use emeralds, but I suppose any gem is doable as long as it's, well, a real gem.

I haven't seen any kind of genuine gems anywhere...with some luck, some might appear from the cornucopia but I find that unlikely.

How does this doll inform something's going on? Does it come directly to tell me? Or is it beamed to my head?
