Week four
Two more of your fellow gods, your companions, your friends, have met their end together. As you turn in for the night, and a new week dawns upon you, it's starting to be a bitter experience. Just how much of this will you be forced to take?
But all isn't just despair. The morning is brighter than the last. The storm clouds that previously plagued almost every day have dissipated, and this week brings plenty of sun and a friendlier breeze. Not to mention, another floor of this strange temple has revealed itself. Whatever lies within is your domain, not Typhon's. Keep it tight in your grasp, because you never know when you'll lose it.

She spends some time in... the library, actually, because well. There's books. And where there's books, you know what's public domain? Grimm's Fairy Tales.
So she spends a few solid hours in here just. Reading. And looking at some other fairy tale and folklore books as well, but... it's hard to avoid the grown woman reading fairy tales with a look of distaste? Probably?
She also, naturally, finds a second copy, under entirely different credentials. Maybe slightly different, from someone else's world. ]
How many Snow Whites are there...?
[ She starts a list, it seems, of authors. The Brothers Grimm, Hans Christian Anderson, Charles Perrault, Walter Elias Disney... then starts cross-referencing. ]
They can't be hard to find, this Disney has his own industrial company...
[ Oh. It might be a hit list. Hm.
Later on, she goes to the fire pit as the sun sets. And well, she's a princess! So clearly, the thing to do at a moment like this is to sing a lovely song. ]
[ ... which is why she picked the german nursery rhyme about someone falling off a horse and dying, it seems. ]
Fire pit
Evening, Princess.

Initially the stuff she gets seems fine. A lot of junk, some clothing items, some food she'll have to give away, a pile of plushies she has to narrowly avoid being buried under... but a few things stick out. The garmentmaker and the opossum in particular really get her attention, though she has no idea what an opossum is (why is she thinking of that "rat" the village children love to play with right now?????) and get set aside.
...But then there's the plush goat, which makes her start to feel uneasy. She did not interact with Him in that form before but she knows about it now and all the talking she's done about Him lately makes it all seem like an omen. But it's just coincidence, right?
And then she opens a wooden box and shrieks.
She drops it immediately, letting it fall with a heavy thud. The lid clatters off from the force, and a red shine glimmers off the shoes as they catch the light.
She takes two steps back, but her wide eyes do not move from the shoes. Her hands tremble and then she's rushing to kneel in front of the box.
She has to get rid of these now. ]

But then she hears Leb shriek, and thoughts of a returning companion flee her mind. She doesn't burst out into a run she nears the cornucopia, but her pace quickens, lightning crackling at her fingertips to prepare for any hostility-]
... Leb?
[... But she only sees Lebkuchen, looking absolutely terrified. She keeps her focus on the girl's face at first, and doing a quick sweep for possible injuries.]
What happened?
no subject
Miss Aglaea…!
[ There’s panic and fear in her voice but also anger. A sense of urgency. ]
Th-That bastard, He—
[ But then she shakes her head. No, she needs to stay on track. ]
We need to get rid of these now.

Then Leb screams and drops a box, and Aoi looks over.]
Boop boop...
[She looks at Leb, then the box, then Leb again, then the shoes in the box.]
Did they burn you?
no subject
N-No, they—
[ But then she thinks about it for a moment too long and realizes Aoi’s the exact kind of young girl that would make easy prey for a devil. Fear comes back into her voice but for a different reason. ]
P-Please stay back! These are dangerous…!

[After their conversation a few days ago, he's absolutely immediately running towards her after that scream.]

[ Oh no. Of course people would come and be concerned if she yelled. Her hands fumble as she tries to grab the box’s lid. ]
I-I’m fine, I just…
[ Her brow furrows ]
I need to get rid of these, as quickly as possible…!!

[After an unfortunate incident with the washing machine (no she will not answer questions), Ranma was in the kitchen preparing to dump a kettle of boiling water on herself. She nearly drops the whole damn thing when the scream hits her ears. Shit!
Changing back will have to take a rain check. Ranma hoofs it to the scene, armed with nothing but her fists, spirit and this kettle still whistling and blowing steam from its spout.]
What's goin' on, who's dyin'?!
[WHERE IS THE MURDERER WHO DOES SHE HAVE TO PUNCH?!?!?!?!]
no subject
N-No one's dying! I'm sorry, I just--
[ She tries to gather up the shoes. Ranma only being a girl sometimes doesn't put him at risk she thinks but her instinct is to still keep the shoes far away from anyone else. ]
I-I need to get rid of these, they're dangerous...!

The shield gets set aside with a note to herself to show it to Ferdinand—he needs his enrichment. She flips through the book and has quite a face journey as it dawns on her who it likely belongs to, then also puts it aside. Opens the packet out of curiosity, only to immediately seal it back when the smell gives her a coughing fit, by the dragons.
It's when she examines the quartz crystal and realises what she's got that she lights up in a way pretty much no one here has ever seen her do. She looks positively ecstatic, which may as well mean the world's ending. ]
Yes! Yes! Fucking finally!

Ah, and she was the one questioning his feelings? If only he could show what he sees right now.
But no time for that! He smacks his cheeks a few times]

At the moment, he's sorting some things into piles first. The appearance of a bottle makes him perk up. He removes the cap and takes a whiff, making a curiously pleased sound, before he tips the bottle back for a sip. His expression brightens.] Oh, that's good. [he sounds quite pleased about that, setting the bottle aside. He goes through the same proceedure when he finds a bottle of The Good Stuff. It's enough to make him start humming as he continues to sort, through the rest of it. He also sets aside a very nice embroidered suit, looking at it admiringly. It's far too big for him, but that doesn't mean he can't appreciate the tailoring.
At some point, takes a moment to put his hands on his hips and stare up at a certain statue while chewing on a pretzel.
Eventually, once all of that's dealt with, he goes looking for Cerejeira, Aoi, and, if he doesn't catch her at his regains, Luna, individually. At his heels, as ever, is Fritz the German Shepherd (though now followed around by a beige Eye-pod,) and Critwo strapped to his back, probably snoozing.]

[Ranma, in his cursed form all thanks to a confounded washer deciding to go on the fritz around her, was strolling on by the big-eared alien on her way to boil some water. She stops dead in her tracks to give a what was intended to be a cursory once over to Quark's pile. In case there's anything she recognizes as hers. Hmm... Nunchaku, a ridiculous bat costume, bag of coffee beans...]

[Solid Misane's target is once more, Ranma Saotome. His routines are nearly identical to the ones on Monday. Except this time around, what triggers Ranma's curse is a malfunctioning washing machine. Misane's hypothesis about his curse attracting water like magnets to iron may hold water (ha ha). All Ranma did was enter the room and in the next instance, the floor's flooded.
Hope she's cozy in her crate, because she'll watch Ranma comically scramble around with towels under her arm, trying to get the situation under control.]
