Well, I don't really know much about business.

[he huffs a small laugh at that]

I'm not surprised.

[he taps the book on his open palm a bit, contemplatively]

Y'know, everyone on Ferenginar memorizes these rules when they're small.

...So business is the main economic activity?

It sure is. Profit and business are the core of Ferengi culture.

...I have to admit, it's a little hard for me to imagine.

[latinumsbetter]

Don't tell me your world is also one that doesn't use currency. [he looks very put out by this concept.]

[stringup]

Oh, we've got currency—multiple ones, even—but I wouldn't say business and profit are central to most cultures.

[ ...Well, Gem was sort of an exception but even then, it seemed to her less of a cultural thing as it was just the cost of making a living in a place ran by a dictator. ]

[he tsks at that, shaking his head]

Well, at least they've gone one. That's a start.
