Not to mention, another floor of this strange temple has revealed itself. Whatever lies within is your domain, not Typhon's. Keep it tight in your grasp, because you never know when you'll lose it.

Some people love tragedy. While I can't say this piece is... entirely accurate... Mnestia did pine and long for Cerces's embrace, even dying calling out for their love. It wasn't until they were reborn and journeyed far and wide, embracing more than just their love for Cerces, that they were able to return and finally embrace them. Many, many plays were written of this.

[A pause, and then Aglaea chuckles.]

Mnestia has long since passed, their Coreflame taken, but... I still feel a resonance in my chest, whenever I speak of that story.

I feel I'm becoming privy to a pair of people's private business...even if they're about someone that passed away.

[Is this invasive? She's not sure. It feels a bit invasive. You'd think a detective, used to prying into people's motivations and thoughts, would feel less conflicted about that, haha]

People love stories. True or fictional, exaggerated or not. The titans, especially Mnestia, are so far removed from the general populace of Amphoreus that doing something like this is... different. Compared to writing stories about, say, a leader and her most loyal knight.

[She's absolutely seen those stories in the past...]

What would Mnestia think of people gossiping like this...?

[Almost makes Misane feel bad, really! Almost -- she doesn't feel entirely bad only because she's a detective and therefore can't be allowed to shut down other people's rumors and gossip. How else would a detective obtain leads?]

I can't say. I came from a family of priests that worshipped them, but I didn't particularly talk to them much before I took their Coreflame.

They were so wholly devoted to Cerces and wanted nothing more than to express that love, so perhaps they would have enjoyed stories of their romance.

I have been thinking of ways we could increase our godly powers. Worship seems like a good choice, but it seems my attempt wasn't good enough. Perhaps a story based on someone here will prove to be more effective...
