You've all met Athena, and she's made her point quite clear. She's fully committed to making this world better, and you're the ones who agreed to lend a hand. Something she's obviously quite thankful for.

It's really not so bad around here. Despite the sky, and the state of the land, things are fairly calm. You've got plenty of time to get used to it, and each other. Maybe this'll be easier than it seems.

What's the new organizing criteria?

[Still not saying hi, but yeah. Misane has periodically checked if someone has come by to reorganize the scrolls, and she takes mental note of it. It's...kind of frustrating, if she has to be honest, but whatever]

At the moment? [now he looks over, a mildly annoyed look on his face] Illegible, partially legible, somewhat legible, mostly legible, and actually legible.

[Misane's tone gains a far more interested tone now. She had perused some of the scrolls, but she hadn't finished checking everything yet. Until now, she hadn't seen something legible yet, so that Quark did gets her interest immediately!]

Nope. But when I do, I know what I'll sort them in to.

Oh. We should have asked Athena more details about this place. Then some progress could be done...

How can someone get in touch with her? Did she say anything about that? I have a list of questions to ask.

[Oh! Quark visibly brightens at the mention of Athena] Well, I think you just ask for her. At least, that's what I'm going to try.

Erm...is she...listening to us at all times, to know when she's called...?

[That'd be a little creepy, she thinks. Still, she's already taking out the letter she had found beside her bed, its empty back full of scrabbling. When she said she had a list of questions, she was literal about it]

Good question. [he leans in a bit to peer at her list] What've you got on that?

Things I thought of and had doubts about. There are more but I ran out of writing space...

[It's pretty thorough. It begins...

1. Where does the lift go and how can we make it work?
2. What's the purpose of the barrier? Is it hiding us or protecting us?
3. In case of emergency how can we leave the island for our safety?

It goes on and on and on and on.

...43. How big is this world we need to help heal?
44. Did you get some rejections from some who didn't want to help you?
45. What consequences are there if we fail?

Forty-five points of total, and some that didn't get written down yet. She works hard!]

That's pretty thorough list.

You probably could just ask her if she'd be willing to answer your questions. She seems pretty inclined towards people who are willing to ask questions.

She owes us as many answers as we can want. It's the bare minimum she can do after asking for our help.

[Also if it's up to her she doesn't intend to give Athena the option not to answer questions. Interrogations are an important part of detective work! And she's a detective!]

Now that we certainly agree on. The more we know the better, as far as I'm concerned.

Something that came to mind recently is if we need worshippers to become more powerful. What do you think? Should we start worshipping each other?

...huh. You know, I didn't consider that. The only gods I've met personally before this were already powerful, and the worship came after.
