Week Six

You've survived, for lack of better wording, the latest week of trials and tribulations. This one had been more costly than most: Typhon's machinations have brought your group to nearly half the size it was when Athena first brought you to this island. Whether it ends with him or with you is still too soon to make out. One thing's for certain. Things cannot be allowed to continue as they are.

Speaking of continuing, the next floor has been revealed to you. Just how far down this island goes is a bit of a mystery, but you get the feeling that you're close to something important. Maybe that thing Athena wanted you to find before Typhon does. You can ruminate on that as you watch the waters below. Waves still lap at the cliffs, but it all seems lower than it did weeks ago. Like the ocean itself is shrinking...

I know the entire show by heart! It was the first story I remember ever truly loving. Ha... I would play out the final sword fight against the Beast with a stick before I ever held an actual blade. It is what made me fall for fighting and the arts all at once.

Indeed! I had to start early to catch up to Diva Manuela Casagranda.

[he freezes, as if caught in a trap he didn't realize he laid]

H-ha... well...

[ She tilts her head with raised eyebrows as if to say, "well?" ]

It was a child's dream, I suppose. Even if I was not bound by my noble standing I grew to be too barrel chested to do her parts long ago. Though there are plenty of male roles I am quite fond of... they never really held the same charm.

[stringup]

[ She reaches up to tuck a bit of Ferdinand's hair behind his ear. ]

I think even if we remained friends that would be true.

Maybe. I feel like I would've missed out on your singing if that was the case, though.

[He laughs warmly]

I certainly would not be thinking of serenades otherwise!

[He grins

[ For some reason she gives a distinct impression of being a cat with its fur standing on end while ALSO going "Don't you fucking dare." ]

[He clears his throat and starts to belt, for the sirens and anyone in the halls to hear-]

What did I say about wanting it to be for just the two of us...!

[he stops before ever getting into any lyrics, cackling to himself]

We are alone though!

[THE SIRENS ARE RIGHT THERE FERD]

Do the sirens not count?!

[he leans back to peek over the pool edge, making sure his hair is not dangling in grabbing distance]
