Bar Mingle: Week 2

Every evening at dusk (unless, for some reason, Quark is indisposed,) the Eatery transforms into Quark's Bar. The table becomes a bartop with chairs lined up on one side. Some of the extra chairs are placed along the wall behind the bar as a makeshift bench for ingredients, glasses, ice, and anything else. There are bowls of peanuts placed on top of the bar for free snacking. On one end of the bar there's a selection of pastries, fresh-baked by Lebkuchen, who might also be there.

As of Monday, there are some new additions to the bar. On one end of the table is a interesting look board game. Next to it is a plate of lebkuchen, left out for a specific bunch of fuzzy creatures that seem to like them.. In another corner is a roulette-esque kind of game.

In the rafters, there's a whole swarm of Zubats now, and one or two of them might come down to say hello. If they do, Quark is shooing them away again, but they only go back up to the ceiling.


Outside the door to the Eatery is a sign, handwritten, and further inside, the menu tacked up in a couple places behind the bar:

[ He glares at Jeira, however. ]

I HEARD YOU AND QUARK SPEAKING. MY AUDIO SENSORS ARE EXTREMELY ADVANCED. I AM NOT LEAVING UNTIL I AM SURE THESE CREATURES ARE ENTIRELY SAFE.

...Just make sure not to get into anyone's personal space. And leave after, okay?

[ Omega stares at her.

Then points up at Ranma. ]

WHERE DOES HE FALL VIS A VIS PERSONAL SPACE?

...I think Ranma's just going to do what he wants. I'm not his mom.

[so, she'll allow it?]

[Shoots her a peace sign, before going back to stretching his legs.]

VERY WELL, THEN. I WILL GIVE EVERYONE, EXCLUDING RANMA, SPACE.

There you go. Good.

...And if you try going into a situation guns up again, I'm going to tape them up or something.

[ Omega seems to visibly wilt beneath Ranma as he slumps. ]

[Oh. That... actually both takes Ranma aback and gets him to feel bad.

Just. Gonna try to pat Omega's shoulder in a 'there there buddy' manner.]

Hey c'mon, don't beat yourself up now. [That's what they're here for!] You got the firepower, and you got the drive. You're just lackin' some discipline.

[he was a little nettled at him doubting his abilities but then he turns around and talks about how awesome he is and how he wants to prove his strength against him, so it cancels out any negative feelings.]
