Bar Mingle: Week 2
Every evening at dusk (unless, for some reason, Quark is indisposed,) the Eatery transforms into Quark's Bar. The table becomes a bartop with chairs lined up on one side. Some of the extra chairs are placed along the wall behind the bar as a makeshift bench for ingredients, glasses, ice, and anything else. There are bowls of peanuts placed on top of the bar for free snacking. On one end of the bar there's a selection of pastries, fresh-baked by Lebkuchen, who might also be there.
As of Monday, there are some new additions to the bar. On one end of the table is a interesting look board game. Next to it is a plate of lebkuchen, left out for a specific bunch of fuzzy creatures that seem to like them.. In another corner is a roulette-esque kind of game.
In the rafters, there's a whole swarm of Zubats now, and one or two of them might come down to say hello. If they do, Quark is shooing them away again, but they only go back up to the ceiling.
Outside the door to the Eatery is a sign, handwritten, and further inside, the menu tacked up in a couple places behind the bar:
Come on in and take a load off!
Tokens accepted as payment
NO RED MURDEROUS ROBOTS ALLOWED
Non-alcoholic drinks: 2 tokens
Alcoholic drinks: 4 tokens
Lebkuchen: 1 token/piece, 4 for 3 tokens
Breadroll: 1 token/piece
Lollipops: 1 token/each
Wednesday Special: Homemade Apple Strudel! 3 tokens/slice

TUESDAY
Anyone looking for the bartender will find him where he always is, behind the couter, though he can often be found staring blankly at the wall across from the bar, idly polishing a glass--before he seems to snap himself out of it again]

Hello, Quark. I would like... a drink, I suppose.

--Athena! [he breathes out harshly, dropping the hand that he had clutched to his chest for a moment]
You gotta warn a guy before you pop in like that. [he shakes his head, straightening, surveying the glass on the floor]
Time for a new glass, I guess. [he starts to move to pick a new one up] So, what're you drinking? You got a preference?
no subject
Apologies. I'll try not to let that happen again. [She waves her hand, and the glass on the floor reshapes into its non-shattered self.] Whatever you'd prefer. I don't drink often.
[she snorts.]
I'm going to need it.
no subject
Yeah? [he moves to mix her a drink, selecting orange, mango and pineapple juices, and a bit of grenadine. He adds ice to the glass, followed by a couple shots of The Not So Good Stuff, the juices, and the grenadine on top. That done, he adds a small stirring stick and turns back to her, moving to set it on the bar in front of her.]
A Bajoran Sun Salute.

She muses over her thoughts while staring into the drink. She knew very little about the Bajoran, but this looked quite appetizing.]
Yes, if I'm going to kill Typhon, I'll need a proper weapon.
[She sips.]

Hi. Here's Alex, with a small plastic produce container under his arm. He sits down at the bar. ]
Hey. [ Kind of. Weakly. For obvious reasons. ]
no subject
Hey, yourself.
no subject
[ He opens and closes his mouth, as if trying to grasp for something to say. When nothing comes, he just sighs and sets the container on the bar in front of him. ]

[pointing vaguely up. not like anyone managed to miss the fun little Typhon talk.]
I didn't see you, but I kinda figure...
no subject
It'd be a little hard not to.
no subject
[she's gonna hold out a scroll for him.]
...There was one for everyone. Figured I'd grab yours before someone got curious.

[ That is, of course, not really why she came. There's several reasons for that, none of them pertaining to the bats, but there are definitely additional Zubat hanging out on her head and back! ]

[ But that's rather beside the point. She approaches the bar, leaning against it rather than attempt to use any seats. ]
Art thou well? Thou didst vanish entirely, earlier.

...I was in my room. I figured it would be safer there than out in the open.
