Bar Mingle: Week 2
Every evening at dusk (unless, for some reason, Quark is indisposed,) the Eatery transforms into Quark's Bar. The table becomes a bartop with chairs lined up on one side. Some of the extra chairs are placed along the wall behind the bar as a makeshift bench for ingredients, glasses, ice, and anything else. There are bowls of peanuts placed on top of the bar for free snacking. On one end of the bar there's a selection of pastries, fresh-baked by Lebkuchen, who might also be there.
As of Monday, there are some new additions to the bar. On one end of the table is a interesting look board game. Next to it is a plate of lebkuchen, left out for a specific bunch of fuzzy creatures that seem to like them.. In another corner is a roulette-esque kind of game.
In the rafters, there's a whole swarm of Zubats now, and one or two of them might come down to say hello. If they do, Quark is shooing them away again, but they only go back up to the ceiling.
Outside the door to the Eatery is a sign, handwritten, and further inside, the menu tacked up in a couple places behind the bar:
Come on in and take a load off!
Tokens accepted as payment
NO RED MURDEROUS ROBOTS ALLOWED
Non-alcoholic drinks: 2 tokens
Alcoholic drinks: 4 tokens
Lebkuchen: 1 token/piece, 4 for 3 tokens
Breadroll: 1 token/piece
Lollipops: 1 token/each
Wednesday Special: Homemade Apple Strudel! 3 tokens/slice

THURSDAY (Get Together)
The bar is set up as it always is. This time, however, there is a spread of food and baked goods, courtesy of Ranma, Vanity, Lebkuchen and Cerejeira. To drink, there's a huge bowl of punch, mixed up by your local bartender and host, along with cups. This punch is non-alcoholic (for now.) Next to the punch, there's a little folded sign, reading:]
[what, did you think he wasn't going to try and make some profit off of this???? Anyway, the bar opens at dusk for the get together. Feel free to wander around, mingle, listen to some live music, play some dabo or tongo or some other party game, and have fun with your fellow Gods-in-training!]

What would you recommend, that you're familiar with from your world?

Oh, now that's a good question. It depends on the sort of thing you like. I've got recipes up here for every taste. [he taps the side of his head, just above one of his ears.] Are you more of a sweet or sour drinker? Or bitter, even?

He ends up a few drinks in as the night goes, a little tipsy by the end though far from fully drunk. Enough to end up dancing quite a bit though. Inviting others to join with a flourishing bow and a charming grin. And when solo he eventually ends up doing a few theatrical moves, flicking his arm and wrist like he brandishing a rapier, even though he is obviously unarmed. It's clearly a practiced routine, like something from a stage show]

Later, as everyone's managed to have their fun, Athena - yes, she's still here - proceeds to clear her throat.]
Attention, please. I have an announcement.
You've all already come so far in the past weeks, even with the threat looming over our heads, I have faith in each of you to make your own choices... Which is why I must make mine.
Tonight, I will set off for a weapon that, to my knowledge, will be able to strike Typhon down. I don't intend to be away for long. If there's... any questions you all have, now would be the right time to ask them.

Would you be more specific? About what you're seeking, and where you're going. We can't fumble blindly forever, especially if we're being left to our own devices.

The script for the next masquerade... I should probably...
[And it's like a switch flips. What little life there was to her movements vanishes the moment she gets to her feet, as if she's being pulled along by strings. In this moment, she truly looks like a doll.]
"Sister Dearest... has the full moon truly forsaken us?" [Her tone is just as lacking in spirit, but it's deliberate now, as opposed to Mutsumi's usual timorous passivity.]
