Bar Mingle: Week 2
Every evening at dusk (unless, for some reason, Quark is indisposed,) the Eatery transforms into Quark's Bar. The table becomes a bartop with chairs lined up on one side. Some of the extra chairs are placed along the wall behind the bar as a makeshift bench for ingredients, glasses, ice, and anything else. There are bowls of peanuts placed on top of the bar for free snacking. On one end of the bar there's a selection of pastries, fresh-baked by Lebkuchen, who might also be there.
As of Monday, there are some new additions to the bar. On one end of the table is a interesting look board game. Next to it is a plate of lebkuchen, left out for a specific bunch of fuzzy creatures that seem to like them.. In another corner is a roulette-esque kind of game.
In the rafters, there's a whole swarm of Zubats now, and one or two of them might come down to say hello. If they do, Quark is shooing them away again, but they only go back up to the ceiling.
Outside the door to the Eatery is a sign, handwritten, and further inside, the menu tacked up in a couple places behind the bar:
Come on in and take a load off!
Tokens accepted as payment
NO RED MURDEROUS ROBOTS ALLOWED
Non-alcoholic drinks: 2 tokens
Alcoholic drinks: 4 tokens
Lebkuchen: 1 token/piece, 4 for 3 tokens
Breadroll: 1 token/piece
Lollipops: 1 token/each
Wednesday Special: Homemade Apple Strudel! 3 tokens/slice

[She'll admit she's a bit of a hypocrite, with how closely guarded the secret of life beyond the sky was. But that was to protect the mortals, the innocents who Aquila would target without remorse. It would jeopardize the last safe haven on Amphoreus. This... it's different.]

When I return, if any of you wish to aid me in the fight, then I will accept it. But, for now, I would ask that you stay here.

[Aglaea doesn't quite scoff, but. She has no reason to hold back her words.]
I'm no stranger to one who can command death. I've long since lost my fear to it. I've seen Aquila's rage against those who tried to ascend to the sky. I've spent the past centuries fighting back against the black tide that led to the rest of Amphoreus's fall - to say that none of us know what to expect means that you have less faith in us than you're leading us to believe.
[The only thing stopping her from being more active in the fight is the network she had to maintain to protect Okhema. Without that... perhaps it's time to knock the dust off her sword, so to speak.]

[Bitterly,]
And I have been foolish. I failed to notice an escape from Tartarus until Typhon had placed you all in danger. But that doesn't lesson my faith in you. I have to consider the dangers now, hidden or otherwise. There may be other Titans out there, waiting for a surprise attack. Out there - where he won't be restrained to those veins he summons - even Typhon himself could be lurking! Not just a handful of twisted soldiers.
[She sets Algaea with a direct look into her eyes.]
You're gods now - you were already one - but you're also mortal. And outside this island is nothing but raging, uncontrolled seas. If you were swallowed by them... if anything happened...
Please, let me do this for you, all of you.
[Star Rail 3.3 Spoilers]
[But... hm. Curious. She can't remember the last time anyone called her mortal. Really, it was one thing Caenis enjoyed so much - trying to remind everyone how far away from human Aglaea has become.]
But you should know that nothing can be accomplished alone. Fight on, push back against the dark tide threatening to engulf this world - that is something to take pride in. But even a god cannot bear that weight with only their two hands.

All the more reason why you shouldn't be so quick to leap into danger.
[Mortals had such thin, tangible lives... Twenty years was a blink in a God's eye. But for mortals, that was their whole story.]
I know better than to present myself as the only god. I'll return with the sword, and when I do, we'll fight together. How does that sound?

Will the rest of the group be okay, if you're the only one with this powerful weapon of yours?

I suppose the next question would be just what sort of potential threats are trapped inside that could be released.

[Everyone TRIED, but.]
