Bar Mingle: Week 2

Every evening at dusk (unless, for some reason, Quark is indisposed,) the Eatery transforms into Quark's Bar. The table becomes a bartop with chairs lined up on one side. Some of the extra chairs are placed along the wall behind the bar as a makeshift bench for ingredients, glasses, ice, and anything else. There are bowls of peanuts placed on top of the bar for free snacking. On one end of the bar there's a selection of pastries, fresh-baked by Lebkuchen, who might also be there.

As of Monday, there are some new additions to the bar. On one end of the table is a interesting look board game. Next to it is a plate of lebkuchen, left out for a specific bunch of fuzzy creatures that seem to like them.. In another corner is a roulette-esque kind of game.

In the rafters, there's a whole swarm of Zubats now, and one or two of them might come down to say hello. If they do, Quark is shooing them away again, but they only go back up to the ceiling.


Outside the door to the Eatery is a sign, handwritten, and further inside, the menu tacked up in a couple places behind the bar:

[He wouldn't! He made sure not to squish the gopher while using Omega like a platform. Ranma doesn't remove himself just yet, doing some stretches in place on the gun-toting robot. It's fine.]

Or ghosts. Those are sorta-organic.

[Hopping off Omega, Ranma makes his way over to one of the Winions and. gingerly gives them a poke.

What's the verdict mods?]

[The grey fur covered it's body is very soft and so dense his finger vanishes to his knuckles, not unlike touching a chinchilla, but once past the fluff it feels mostly solid!

The Winion he pokes, the one in the crown, giggles and playfully baps at his hand with soft paws like a kitten.]

Nnnnnope, definitely not a ghost.

[It's hard to school his smile at the princess creture pawing at his hand, it's actually kinda cute. it's so wittle... Ranma holds out his hand for the Winion to stand on if it wants]

[Poof! Instead of walking like a normal animal, it teleports into Ranma's hand in a tiny burst of swirling green sparkles.]

He starts giving the lil Winion some scritches on the head looking absolutely mystified by it pigtail gently swaying in the breeze like a tail.

ranma's only met these things and he's already decided he will die for these if he has to]

Atheeeee- [Round and Fluffier chimes in from the spinning wheel, it's squeaky little voice sing-song-ing the Goddess of Widom's name in a way that almost sounds like it's copying someone.] -eeeeena! Good-bye present!

[Round and Fluffier poofs from the wheel and reappears on it's stomach on Ferdinand's shoulder, dizzily holding it's head with a paw.]

Good-bye Hermes! "Bye-bye, darling! Good luck with better world! Dangerous to go alone, take these! Don't know what to do with them!"

[Huh. It sounds like they were a present to Athena before she left home. How...thoughtful?]

[A relieved gasp- they would be kinda fucked if there's another fissure without her]

Hermes... a friend of hers perhaps?

[He digs in his pocket and gets some dried meat he carried for Derick and offers it to the Winion on him]

[ so do these little guys have energy she can sense, or...?

(she's not here, she's just hanging out in a tree somewhere and practicing her new power at a distance) ]

[They do!

Notably their energy signatures are separate but perfectly identical to one another.]

[ Hmm!!!!! That, in combination with the ever-increasing number of auras showing up around them, makes it definitely worth a visit.

So uh timewise I guess she's just kind of peering around Velvet as she attempts to Grandpa Simpson... ]

Oh, is that what they look like? I was wondering!

[ He spins around to face Quark. ]

LOGICAL REASONING POINTS TO YOU, QUARK. DO YOU ACCEPT THESE CREATURES AS YOUR MINIONS?

[he's holding one of them now so]

Them? Sure. You? No. I'll say it again, rustbucket: Get out.

They do not appear to be fiends...

They are quite friendly.
