Week one
You've all met Athena, and she's made her point quite clear. She's fully committed to making this world better, and you're the ones who agreed to lend a hand. Something she's obviously quite thankful for.
It's really not so bad around here. Despite the sky, and the state of the land, things are fairly calm. You've got plenty of time to get used to it, and each other. Maybe this'll be easier than it seems.

Open Every Morning Until Mid-Day
Bulk discounts possible; Inquire with Proprieter
All sales final
If he spots someone, he'll wave to flag them down, calling out:]
Hello--hey! Good morning! Lovely day, isn't it? I'm just setting up shop, why don't you have a look? I'm sure you'll find something to catch your eye!
[Around mid-afternoon, Quark will gather up whatever he hasn't sold and cart it back to his room. After that, he'll take some time to walk around. If he finds someone, he'll change his trajectory towards them. Once close enough, he'll ask:]
Would you mind doing me a little favor? I'm working on figuring out this whole power thing, and something seems to happen when people tell me things. You know, minor problems, gripes, stories--what you'd tell a bartender. So could you just tell me something? So I can get the practice in, y'know?
[Finally, as the sky starts to turn to dusk, Quark's going to be heading to the Eatery. With a bit of grunting and nudging, he's going to shove the table closer to the wall, leaving just enough room for a handful of chairs (lined up against the wall) and a small space between those chairs and the table where a Ferengi could potentially stand and move back and forth along the lenth. He uses a couple chairs, placed from the ends of the tables to the wall, to create an enclosed space, while moving the rest to the other side of the table, tugging a couple out a bit away in order to make them look more inviting. He then retrieves a bunch of juices, the coffee maker (he watched Vanity do it, how hard can it be??), the kettle, some fruit and several different glasses and cups out to that enclosed space he's made, placing them on the chairs inside it to serve as a makeshift bench for easy retrieval. Lastly, he digs through the pantry for some snacks, taking whatever looks interesting and placing it in bowls or on plates on the counter.
Once that's all finished, he steps out from his now-finished makeshift bar, looking pleased as he surveys it. He then turns to walk out of the Eatery, tugging a piece of parchment out of his jacket and unfolding it, and using some drops of Krazy Gloo, he hangs up a sign on the wall next to the entrance to the Eatery:
Come on in and take a load off!
Open Every Evening at Dusk
GRAND OPENING SPECIAL: ALL DRINKS 1 TOKEN
It seems that the bar is now open for business! There'll be a subtopic under here for a bar mingle for anyone who wants to put their character in the bar to mingle and be tagged by others. Starting next week, (theoretically) I'll put up a bar mingle toplevel for the week.]
BAR MINGLE
QUARK

[ Ferdinand wanders in shortly after Quark is finished, eyes wide with delighted surprise. He pauses to read the sign, nodding to himself. Of course Quark doesn't have access to anything Ferdinand couldn't go get from the pantry himself. But you pay for the convience and experince! He walks over, placing a token on the "counter" before sitting, legs primmly crossed]
And what would you suggest, good barkeep?
no subject
I've got a couple ideas. You've been working hard today, though, right?

But, that being said, I think I know just the thing.
[he turns away from him, giving him his back while he grabs a glass, a couple different fruit juices, and a small pitcher with some teabags in it? He'll mix those up in specific portions that are just in his head (it's eyeballed), along with a healthy amount of ice, which he swirls around with a straw. He then garnishes it with with a couple leaves, before turning and placing it on the bar in front of him.]
There. See how that suits you.
[what Ferdinand will get, if he takes a sip, will be a nice cold burst of peach, orange, guava and lychee juice mixed with a base of iced tea, and garnished with mint leaves and a slice of orange.]

He tries not to crane peek like a child, but his curiosity is quite peeked when he smells fresh cirtus. The tea is no surprise, but...
He eyes the drink for a moment: tea on ice? He never even considered it. But when he sips his eyes widen with delight]
Oh! Quark this is amazing!

Making yourself at home, I take it?
no subject
Of course! There isn't a place to gather every evening, so that niche was begging to be filled. Naturally, I had to oblige.
no subject
huh.]
So, you can only take the bartender out of the bar for so long, huh?
no subject
What was I going to do, just leave this place without somewhere to gather in the evening?
no subject
...So, what's the special?
no subject
[His grin widens]
Why don't you have a seat and I'll mix you up something special?

[ Luna, really, is just tickled by the whole "opens at dusk" concept. ]
no subject
It sure is. Granted, my set up at home is more elaborate than this and I have more of a variety to serve people with, but one makes do.
no subject
[ Something like a pony's particular talent, maybe, though Luna hasn't started trying to take over the night sky here. Yet. Maybe. ]

BONFIRE. SHOW ME YOUR WARES
Boop boop! Are you kickstarting our economy? Aoi has a few drinks and a figure of a space--
[Then something specific catches her eye among the wares: a melted hairpin that used to be shaped like a cat.]
How...?
no subject
What is it? [he follows Aoi's gaze, looking at the items in the clothing section.] Something you're interested in?
no subject
This is Aoi’s.
no subject
And for two tokens, it's yours again.
no subject
Then again, that Aoi's story was over. It had been worth it for--
...oh. She's crying. She doesn't seem to notice when she finally does speak up.]
Tokens. Aoi has some drinks and a space man. [She pulls Buzz Lightyear out of her sweater pocket.]
