Week one
You've all met Athena, and she's made her point quite clear. She's fully committed to making this world better, and you're the ones who agreed to lend a hand. Something she's obviously quite thankful for.
It's really not so bad around here. Despite the sky, and the state of the land, things are fairly calm. You've got plenty of time to get used to it, and each other. Maybe this'll be easier than it seems.

He's had this nagging feeling that something's different, something new deep inside. What exactly that is what he's gonna find out!
Meditation is a surefire way to find his focus and get his mind in order. Throughout the early hours of the day, Ranma wasn't doing any katas or shadow boxes like he may have been seen doing the other days. Instead, he'll be found sitting in the lotus position right outside the living quarters. More than likely in front of/close to someone's door, though rule of funny's a persistent one.
This'll continue all the way to breakfast in the eatery, where he can be found meditating once more... except. He's on the table. While doing his meditation upside down. Table manners, he barely knows her!
Afterwards when he's fully concentrated
or got dizzy after the blood rushed to his head, he pays the training grounds a visit. The teenage martial artist stands firmly in front of the training dummies, holding his hands out in a claw shape while taking deep, composed breaths... If one looks close enough, they may notice a golden aura start to surround Ranma. A brilliant yellow orb of light begins to bloom in his hands--]Dammit! [--annnnnd it peters out with a pathetic fizzle, the martial artist furrowing his brows with a glower.] That didn't work either... [He grumbles to himself, not really noticing the onlooker he procured.]
Meditation
Why're you doing that?
no subject
[Ranma doesn't falter in his pose, stalwartly maintaining it. Though he allows himself to crack open one eye.]
Athena said we all got new powers when we became gods. If these work like how ki does, I'm tryin' to hone in on it and grasp it. Meditating helps with concentrating.

no subject
It does both. To concentrate, you gotta have a calm mind, no matter where you are or what's being lobbed at you.
[like rocks. or beehives.]

Are you having difficulties with powers from your own world, or whatever new one you've been given here?

[The new voice gets the pigtailed teen's attention, craning his head to the source. Ranma remembers seeing that pale face with mismatched eyes in passing during the gathering. Were there two vampires brought amongst them all? There were some similarities to Astarion that Ranma did momentarily ruminate on it. Boy, any more bloodsuckers and they might get bats in the belfry.]
A little of column A, little of B.
[Rolling his shoulder with a terse stretch.]
Mostly B. I haven't had a reason or way to test if my strength and speed's still intact, and I can't just throw it around willy-nilly so recklessly.
[He'd get his godhood revoked if he just randomly socked someone in the face to check if they'll go into the stratosphere. From his observations, he gleaned Athena as being durable enough to take a hit if he hadn't been nerfed. But that's just a theory, a god theory. Thanks for smiting.
Sigh.]
I'm still attuned to my ki, that I know's still normal.
[Since they're on the subject, seems only fair to throw Zvei's question back at him.]
Something up with your powers?
no subject
Ki, hmm...?
[Not something he's familiar with, but he can circle back around to that in a bit (if he remembers). For now:]
Yes, I have noticed that my magic seems... weaker. Almost as though something is blocking it, but not fully preventing its usage, if that makes sense. I am a healer by trade, and usually I'm capable of healing near-fatal wounds... but I've noticed that my healing is sluggish and slower to respond. I doubt I'd be capable of my usual level of healing, but I'm unable to adequately test that theory right now.
[Not unless someone gets seriously hurt. So anyway, if Ranma wants to punch someone so hard they get broken ribs or something—]
no subject
[There it is, that unfamiliarity he's heard time and again. He'll gladly explain it if Zvei decides to ask further. For now tho, Ranma nods along to the other's explanation, fully getting what's laid out.
It wasn't immediately noticeable when he woke up the first day. Like a small nick on your hand you got somewhere you can't place, it didn't make itself known until he thought about it. Call it a gut feeling, but it felt like a weaker variant of the moxibustion that stripped him of his strength that one time. That didn't sit well with him. All the more reason to find an excuse to go all-out and test if his strength, speed, everything's been tampered, and by how much.
Tempting as it may be to punch someone in the rips, he's not gonna do that without a reason.
WITH A REASON HOWEVER-]
It does.
[Pinching his brow, he crosses his arms, grousing under his breath.]
Here I thought becoming gods would make us more powerful, not less.
[Sad thing is he should've expected this. There's always gotta be some sort of catch or price involved when it comes to power.]

Eatery
[Ranma what the hell are you doing. Misane has no idea, but she just sees this guy upside down on top of the table, and she wishes he'd keep in mind people need this table]
no subject
I could.
[... He doesn't move. The table's large enough for twenty-odd people to use, he isn't taking up that much space!]
no subject
I can't clean and contribute to the upkeep like you asked me to if you're there. This is the only object I have yet to clean.
[Total lie -- but she really would get started with cleaning this long table if she had to, to keep up the deceit]
no subject
[Oh right. They did make that agreement, didn't they? It slipped Ranma's mind, since he didn't think she would take it that seriously (missing that she's messing(?) with him). He certainly hadn't! And while the stubborn, asshole side wants to double down and stay glued to this table or move a tiny inch, technically speaking, a deal's a deal. Gotta honor it.
Congrats Misane, you got him to actually acquiesce. Ranma stands up with his hands and maneuvers over to one of the chairs. Yes while holding that stupid fucking pose.]

eatery meditation
[...will he notice if she just. Stacks a plate on top of his feet here.]
omg
[If he does, he doesn't let it show. No swaying or sign his balance was getting off-kilter. No annoyance or anything but sheer concentration etched on his face. No telling her to knock it off. He's just letting this happen.]
no subject
[Taking advantage of this insensate state would definitely be in poor taste at best.]
[Yeah she's bringing in pots and other pieces of cooking and diningware from the kitchen and just. Stacking them one at a time on Ranma like a terrible Jenga game.]
no subject
[All things considered... Were this situation reversed, Ranma would do the same thing with gusto and zero hesitation.
Minutes pass by, the Renga tower has been realized. Pots, pans, oh my, all mish-mashed together in an OSHA/physics defying spire(?) It doesn't go that far up unless Vanity tried to test her luck and got a ladder, but. Still monumental this monument of dinnerware hadn't toppled over after the sixth or seventh piece!
And Ranma? Completely unmoving and unbreakable even now, like a mountain.]
Zzzzzz...
[........ a noisy, snoring mountain...]

training
Here. I got some water for- ah. [Mutsumi unwittingly steps forward into Ranma's ambient Rumiko Takahashi Slapstick Comedy Aura(tm)'s radius, trips, falls flat on her face, and...
The water goes sailing toward Ranma.]
1/3
Nah, that wasn't it. That was-
[Turning right at the perfect comedic beat, i.e. when Mutsumi eats shit thanks to the cosmic force known as rule of funny, and on reflex he goes to catch that bottle flying at him. Unusually for him given his track record, he actually does--!]
2/3
[SPLASH!
If there's any doubt that karma is but a figment of men's imagination to justify why things happen, Ranma still getting drenched when he stupidly caught an open plastic bottle with one hand and grabbed it too hard proves that it is indeed real.
The odds that Athena is laughing at him and feeling very vindicated is infuriatingly high.]
3/3
[In the span it takes for the water to travel down his body, by the time Mutsumi looks up, the Ranma that was standing there prior had vanished.
No, replaced.
Replaced by another person, one smol pink-haired and eyed girl wearing a familiar hairdo and (albeit baggy) clothes, still clenching the bottle and staring down at herself with ironically the driest of dry looks that could rival Mutsumi's.
The 'Days Without a Curse-Related Incident' tally has been reset back to 00. Hey, 02 days wasn't so bad. It's basically a record.]
Well, it was startin' to get a lil' muggy so... Thanks for that.
[Just. Gonna drink the water left in the bottle like nothing happened.]
no subject
You're... you're welcome.
[Just going to. Deliberately not look. The least she can do for Ranma is to not have a comically overexaggerated reaction to the transformation.]
So you're... one of those "gender fluids" that I've heard about? I didn't think it'd be so literal...
no subject
[that's. better than more reactions she gets.]
Gender what?
[gurl she is from the late 80s/early 90s that term hadn't gained prominence yet she can't tell if she's being made fun of here what do she do]

[HOW LONG HAS HE BEEN STANDING THERE??????
There's other shoe she was expecting, so glad it could drop by. She shoots him a stink eye the moment he starts chortling.]
Thought I heard a mosquito buzzin' around in here. Someone should really take care of that.
